"The othe evening I had the privilege to take dinner at Fontanabuona as I have a b&b in the close vicinity I often send guests and receive outstanding reviews of their experience. I certainly was not disappointed unfortunately I am a little difficult as I do suffer from a bad gluten intolerance but I had plenty of choices and was impressed to note that the Italian sweet menu listed gluten free. The setting is beautiful, the decoration very tasteful , the staff courteous and attentive. Great detail was given to all plates served and all were delicious especially the sauce on the guinea foul which was divine.. there was also a good varied wine list of local quality wines.. we chose the Nobbio Barbera from Roberto ferraris which complimented the meal perfectly. A special evening out for us and I will definitely continue to recommend it to all my guests."
