"Les Palmiers is run and owned by Bruno and his family. We called in for lunch, today, which was taken on the Terrace. The varied menu, and pricing was excellent as was the Wine List with was varied and everything being excellent value for money....We went for the mid range lunch menu at 28 Euros which included a delicious 'Amuse Bouche ', a wonderful starter, a main course which for us comprised of either a beef or fish dish with all of our dishes being cooked to perfection. Our main courses, were then followed by a selection of tasty cheeses, which in turn, was then followed with a very tasty apricot, honey and lavender desert The combinations of which, were absolutely delicious!! Every dish on the menu was superbly explained, prior to ordering, by the owner Bruno in excellent English. As such, therefore, there would be absolutely no problems in understanding, the menu and/or wine choices, if your French is not so good. As each dish was brought to the table, Bruno would again explain its composition and sourcing which was absolutely brilliant and made for an exceptional eating experience which was enjoyed by everyone of us. The service was exactly at the right pace , with every dish being cooked to perfection. Being on the terrace, under the canopy on a wonderful summer 's day, made the whole lunchtime a fantastic two and a half hour experience. A very BIG THANK YOU to Bruno and his assistant as well as the whole of the kitchen staff who produced a superb meal and together, they all made it a wonderful lunchtime treat. Les Palmiers, is by far the VERY BEST restaurant in Meze and probably in the whole of the area. We cannot wait to return to dine at Hotel Les Palmier 's inner restaurant, for an evening dinner. I am sure that we will be in for a wonderful treat!! If you are in the area of Meze and seeking a lunch time treat or a superb evening meal, then look no further than Hotel Les Palmier It will be one of the best meals, at one of the best prices prepared with great skill and care, that you will have in the Languedoc area of France. Thank you Bruno for your time, for your experience and for your wonderful warm personality which altogether, made our lunch time today, a very warm and memorable experience. Hotel Les Palmier Meze Highly Recommended!!! Peter Pascall Family"
