"Ero con i miei genitori alla sagra della fragola per vedere un concerto, ma l'attesa per la cena era infinita, decidiamo quindi di tornare al ristorante che avevamo visto per strada e mai nessuna scelta fu più azzeccata. Avevamo pochissimo tempo quindi ci siamo limitati ad un solo piatto a testa, ma tutti e tre buonissimi. La gentilezza dello staff è la ciliegina sulla torta. Dai tavoli accanto venivano profumi davvero invitanti, soprattutto di bistecca. Insomma, ci siamo trovati lì per caso e adesso non vediamo l'ora di tornare per una cena con calma."

"Piccolo angolino delizioso che funge sia da piccolo ristorante enoteca con qualche delizia (zuppe, crostini ma anche secondi e dolci) che da negozio . Ribollita molto buona, carciofi sott'olio indimenticabili, crostini buonissimi e soprattutto un po' diversi dal solito, come dolce del Cioccolato servito con uva e gli immancabili cantucci con vin santo, deliziosi. Da tornarci anche per comprare cibo e vini. Unico neo riscontrato: prezzi un po' altini"

"I decided to write this review in English as I’m bilingual, hope this will help foreigners. We’ve been in contact with the owners, extra polite and nice, (all of them to book for 10 people for the 31st of December, but we decide to go there earlier and have a taste before the great night. The food was amazing, the welcoming was absolutely stunning, we travel with 3 dogs and there was no problem for them to welcome our tailed friends. Lovely wine selection, I really don’t know what I could suggest on the menu because everything was absolutely amazing. If you are planning to be in the area you can’t miss this place! So, 4 of us 3 dogs, we had a bottle of wine, few starters to share, 4 main course and 1 sharing plate as second course dessert and coffee. Price? 25€ each for a proper homemade fresh and healthy cuisine (the chef, I think she’s the mum, she’s LOVELY! so for the high quality you will be served is very honest! I’ll write (if I can another review (with photos the 31st. Grazie mille per la piacevole serata e per le coccole ai nostri cani!"

"return to this place after a few years,and I review some evaluations. The outdoor terrace, its frescura and some limited views of the panorama, the jovial and graceful hospitality, the attentive and caring service. Excellent quality and variety of bread basket, rich and interesting wine paper, from which I selected a fresh and fragrant Sangiovese in local rose/ramato purity. This time unfortunately convinced me less the catering. The watercotta elaborated as a starter maybe could be proposed as an entrèe because you eat in a mouth. Of the combined dish with three parts of pig, I appreciated in one the peculiarity of a type of cooking, less the trinity of the sandwich with ground. In the end as dessert I preferred to return to the classic vin saint and cantucci. High price compared to the sum."

"A chance stop-by in the moddle of the road for us. Went for lunch and left very satisfied. Delicious veggie soup (which we had hard time to find in Italy) and great pasta! The staff was very nice and helpful even though we dont speak Italian and they didnt speak English. Didnt even have an English menu. I guess not a tourist place. At the table next they ordered a large steak for the table (1kg according to the menu) and it seemed wonderful, would order it next time around."

"Family owned and operated local restaurant. We were served by the family matriarch and her son. She is a born salesperson. Of equal note for good service was Diego and Maria. Of course, I ordered her off-the-menu choice of a fresh pasta with pureed fava beans. Yum! It was a well presented, well prepared and delicious. My partner and I order the grilled pork which was delicious in a red wine reduction sauce. The only disappointment was the tiny portion of potato. The house wine was poor quality. We expected much better from an area renown for its white wines. We also indulged in the deserts which were disappointing. The description of the pineapple carpaccio marinated in cardamon was too good not to order. Unfortunately, the pineapple was not sweet and had no taste of cardamon that either of us could discern. The fire d'latte gelato was delicious. The creme brûlée was supposed to be made with sage and lemon. We could taste the lemon but no sage. We ordered it because of its unique appeal. Beware of the desserts. Would I return to dine here? Yes. Would I recommend it to others? Yes but again beware of the house wine and the desserts."
