"04.06.2017 After our day trip through Wetterau and Vogelsberg, this restaurant was on our way home at Lauterbach. I haven't seen Burg Lauterbach yet. ; The host is very friendly. The menu offers soups, salads and simple dishes such as schnitzel, Rumpsteak, sprinkled,1/2 chickens, pointing out that it has 30 minutes cooking time. In summer, barbeque is offered in the Burghof for 14, 50 € per person. The prices for main dishes are in the usual range between 10 and 20 €. I was allowed to taste and found ie ochsenbrust, which she had with greener sauce, very delicate. when we ate, still the most abandoned hikers arrived, who ordered the carvings. the not too big card also offers, for example homemade salmon with kartoffel buffers as well as pork larvae with mushrooms and shrub noodles. the price for the main dishes was in average at €15 20, while the pickled salmon at €8.50 was significantly cheaper. everything could have irritated me, but on Friday I wanted to stay with the fish. you say that when the family with their two living children went to the barbaric, the rest was also necessary to enjoy his meal properly. sad, well saturated no longer dessert, and then we moved back to local gefielde, so we ordered the bill. around € 36, including our two drinks plus tips, we paid for both of us, which was entirely within the framework of the price-performance ratio. if we go back to Lauterbach with nice weather, we can also take a closer look at the very interesting burg from outside and then hopefully sit in front of the restaurant to enjoy the view of the surrounding fields and meadows of the northern vogelsberg."
