"General We had reserved a table and arrived at the restaurant on time at 19:00. We were very kindly greeted and the nice lady showed us the table for us. This was this in a better ambience, but unfortunately there was a birthday party and since we wanted to speak in peace with another couple, we choose a table a little from the entrance. To say it with the words of Shaneymac: The dressing room is the guest's thing. But no problem, we take place and immediately got the menu and the weekly card. The flight was also asked about the drinks inquiries: for women a glass of champagne 0.1l. 4€, and a glass of Pino Grigio 0.3l. 3,50€, for Men Radler 0,3l. 2,30€ and a bottle of Aqua Panna 0,75l. $5.90. The drinks came fast and were very loose. The table was beautifully covered with fabric table cloth, paper napkins, fresh roses and a wind light. The selection in the normal menu is not too large, but completely sufficient. In addition, I feel the weekly card with an appetizer, 5 main dishes and 2 desserts as good as I hope on fresh goods through a smaller card. When the serviceman noticed that we had decided, she was already at the table and accepted the order. First we came to the house the already known 3 different dips with fresh baguette discs. This taste good, but perhaps the kitchen should vary at least with a dip, so there is a small change over time. The appetizers came after a pleasant break: for our accompaniment a carrot olive soup (4.50€) which, according to their statement, tasted very well according to the ingredients. For me the river cream soup (5,00€, beautifully allied, adequately equipped with river cancer and refined with Sambuca (I asked because I could not define it). I had already eaten this soup here and can therefore really recommend it. In the meantime we ordered further drinks (Nero d'Avola 0.2l. 4€, Kölsch 2,40€ and later found with our friends that you can order wine here in 0.1l. As main dishes that were not allowed to wait too long (I would like to have had a longer break, duette from the Zander and salmon came with vegetable strips on a lemon sauce (15.90€). Both women found the fish juicy, the vegetables crisp and the lemon sauce was good. Of course, the men had ordered the beef steak with mushrooms and rosemary flakes (16.50€), a change on foil potatoes was also no problem. I was curious about the conclusion of my steak because nobody had asked me before. 220gr. “medium rare”, of good quality, delicate and with grilled aromas. The mushrooms are rich, but no revelation. Also on the rosmarines it has missed a small taste. Dessert no longer went, espresso €1,80 and a snout on the house. The payment process went fast and after we took care of our cabinet, we were kindly accepted. And now for star evaluation (still without the possibility of the 0.5 stars: Operation: I don't take that seriously with the wardrobe. The lady was always present, flexible with the orders, at any time friendly, has repeatedly asked if everything was okay, but was not intrusive. Therefore, the 5 star food: it lacks the I Bouncy, I wish a little more sophistication and courage to season, maybe with a touch Asian z. on the lemon sauce. Nevertheless, food is worth 4 stars. Ambience: I don't want to mention anything in the facility anymore, it's okay. What disturbed me a little is the full record. Today there are so beautiful large plates in angle and also in round. It is certainly a question of money, but perhaps you can gradually get a more beautiful dish because the eye eats with it. But also for the ambience 4 stars. Cleanliness: here is nothing to expose and therefore 5 stars price-performance ratio: the portions are normal large, the quality of the dishes good. Here I fluctuate, but as there are no half points: 5 stars"

"La Piazza is not only in the preferred residential area of Langenfeld, but has been here for many years. On weekends it is always very full and without reservation you will not get a table. Ambiente The restaurant is simply furnished, tables and chairs have been for many years and has space for about 30 people. The background music is sometimes a bit loud, but if desired it is also made quieter. When the restaurant is full, the sound is very high. In a very small kitchen, the boss cooks with an employee. The service is provided by the daughter of the boss and Toni, a young man who, like the others, is very friendly with the guests. Here you know yourself and you are welcomed by hand. Service The two employees must be pretty flashy at full load, but always have a friendly word for the guests. In the meantime, the boss comes from his kitchen to welcome guests. Even if he has a lot to do in the kitchen, he keeps his head in the restaurant at any time. First, the sections are very large. I don't order meat dishes here, because these are only 400gr. 500gr. Become deals (see extract from the map and this is just too much for me. Otherwise, the usual pizza and pasta dishes are found on the map at reasonable prices. W We had ordered the Scampi complete package for 2 people (40,00€: 1 kg). Scampi, a large mixed salad, a pizza bread with cartilage and a liter of wine. The wine came before, for my wife 1⁄2 l. White wine, well chilled in a carafe, for me the same amount of red wine. No top growth, but really acceptable for the price. We received food after a pleasant waiting period. The scampi were fried in a herb garlic sauce and had a pleasant sharpening through the Piri Piri. It is a great pleasure if you swing the rigged scampi before consumption in the sauce. For this purpose, the fluffy pizza bread and a salad with vinegar and oil were made slightly sweet. Cleanliness The tables are always cleanly wiped, overall the restaurant makes a clean impression and how you can look into the kitchen, you can also notice that everything is okay. The toilets are old, but clean. Price/Performance Here is cooked in the soil without the claim to be a top kitchen. Everything is very delicious. This restaurant is also popular because of the large portions and personal service. The beverage portions are also somewhat larger here at good prices. Conclusion on the overall impression: 5 necessary again (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – when it comes back, 4 – again happy, 5 – definitely back to the kitchen trip"

Man sitzt dort in schönem Ambiente. Moderate Cocktail-Preise."

"For years our annual family Gänseessen took place in the “Vater Rhein” in Monheim. Unfortunately there was a change of the owner and we were served there already last year 2 completely balanced geese. Fortunately, we have now found Richrather Hof as a very good substitute. Since we do not want to deviate from our tradition, there must always be two whole happy geese prepared in a traditional way in the oven, and we would like to add some supplements such as: potatoes, latex, lumps, rose cabbage, red cabbage, apples with cranberries and v i e l sauce. When we book a few weeks before, everything was promised and you kept your promise. The geese was simply fantastic, the meat tender, the skin chewed and well seasoned. And it was the first time that we did not manage the geese despite the greatest efforts. The lumps and late lints were obviously self-made, like the still bite-resistant red cabbages, the rose cabbage with ham cubes, the apples in slices, picked and fried and also the sauce was not in the pocket before. In short: very well made home cooking as from Grandma ́s times. Since we were in a brewhouse, we had no good strong red wine, the old fox and at the end of the killepitsch for digestion were a good substitute. The service according to the locality is very friendly and almost always available so that the beverage delivery works quickly. The facility consists of wooden chairs and wooden tables. Everything was very clean and well maintained At prices: a complete goose with 2 supplements costs 88,80€, the additional ordered supplements were calculated with 2,50€ per, which I felt very fair. In the end there were 8 satisfied faces and the realization that we would like to get the same thing next year. Unfortunately I only made 2 pictures that our son (random) had made, I wanted to focus more on our guests"

"“We want to invite guests to dine with us and not just to eat.” This is part of the introduction as the newly opened restaurant a few weeks ago. There are dishes served here that are associated with inspiration, old recipes from Grandmas cookbook with modern cooking. A small balanced card is offered, in addition a daily card with 2 dishes. We went to the restaurant at 6:00. A Lord, as the owner later turned out, was behind the counter, saw us, but continued his work there in peace. And so we stood there unhappy and waited and waited. And when nothing happened, I went to the counter and asked where I sat down. “Whoever you want” was the answer. So we were looking for our table. Shortly afterwards this gentleman came with the menus. We also ordered drinks: Cola and Alt and began to study the map. After about 10 minutes the Lord came back and asked: “Do you have a drink request?” My wife and I looked at us and explained we ordered them a few minutes ago. “Oh yes, and what?” So the drinks ordered again, maybe it was at the opening session? There were exactly 10 guests. The drinks came quickly and well tempered. The Lord was not unfriendly, but unfortunately also the complaint I reported about later reacted so that we had the impression that he is not criminal. That's why I can't forgive more than 2 stars in the best will. The food My wife ordered the “Chef in Salat” (12.80€). Salad variations with vinegar oil dressing and grilled salmon strips. The salad was fresh, but the dressing was very sour, the salmon was not grilled, but, in our opinion, from the pan and sponge in the pan fat. He was very salty. I had ordered pork medals in cherry tomato reduction on rosemary salads in bowl with a small salad (13.50€). My salad was made with a tasteless yogurt dressing, the meat was roasted until really no juice was found in it, the rosemary apples were salty, the alleged tomato reduction was not. The dishes came simultaneously and after a pleasant waiting period. The Lord asked us how he tasted, and unfortunately we had to tell him what we think is not correct. “The salmon is grilled, I saw myself in the kitchen” was the answer and he disappeared in the kitchen. When he came back, we ordered two Ouzo, which he brought us with the comment: “Don’t complain because he comes from the house”. And after some time there was a dessert on the house: a quark cream with a fruit compartment. And because this dessert has tasted good, I give 2 stars for the food. The ambience of Us is too dark. It dominates a large artificial tree with many branches on the ceiling. This may have been a recent decoration, today it is just a dirt trap in my eyes and takes away a lot of light. Otherwise, a rustic facility with predominantly artificial plants, in which we simply did not feel comfortable. Even the background music could not help. Therefore only 2 stars cleanliness The restaurant was clean, we didn't use the toilets. That's why I can award 5 stars, and it's sure this restaurant has just been opened. On the other hand, the boss has a gastronomic experience as he runs another restaurant in Langenfeld. If a learned cook really stood in the kitchen, he still has to learn a lot. We'll leave him a lot of time before we get back here."

Wir hatten also freie Tischwahl. SauberkeitAlles in Ordnung.

"We went to the restaurant at 18:30 and were immediately greeted by a lady. We had decided the choice between several tables and then a four table in the left smaller room. I guess this restaurant hosts around 100 guests at the same time and was half-occupied on our arrival. We had eaten here about 2 years ago shortly after the opening and were not enthusiastic at the time. We received the menus with an ouzo from the house and ordered our first drinks. The cyclist (0,3l. 2,40€ and the Cola (0,3l. 2,50€ quickly and well temperature controlled came to our table and were brought by the boss of the house, who welcomed us friendly with handshake and also brought time for a small chat. After that we had the time to choose the dishes. Unfortunately, this restaurant offers nothing but 90% of Greek restaurants. Greek cuisine can't be so boring, just from grilled appetizers, meat mountains and fish, right? After you had noticed that we had decided, the friendly lady already accepted the order. As an appetizer we chose a mixture (3.50€ from Bruschetta, olive and garlic paste, each on a baguette slice. That was nothing to cheat, but we had eaten worse. For this we ordered a part of Tzatziki (2,50 ), which, although costed for garlic, was otherwise quite taste-neutral. But this is almost better for me than the often salted alternative in other restaurants. Both sections were small and expensive already at the pain limit. We almost finished the appetizers, the salad came to the table. This was fresh, varied and the honey care has tasted us well. In Greek restaurants, the hosts and I always have completely different needs. I want to enjoy the food alone, the host will fill up the table quickly. And so the Hetzjagd went on: the main course came 30 seconds after we had eaten the salad. I had ordered Gyros (Cnusprig with foil potatoes and herbal butter (12.30€). The Gyros usually slim, partly crispy and not too strongly seasoned, the potato nicely large and with a bought herbal butter. Also my wife was satisfied with your two lean and juicy Souvlakia peaks (12,20). These dishes were worth the price. Other drinks ordered such as Alt (0.3l 2.30€, Weinschorle (4€ and Ouzo (2€) came very quickly to our table. Service From beginning to end very friendly and attentive. Only the payment process was withdrawn, as we were obviously forgotten and also for the change we were allowed to wait a little ambience The tables were covered, a textile flower is on the table, with the famous Wastel tax. Otherwise, the setup is pretty lazy. It was so good for us. In addition to the appetizers we felt that the prices were fair. Are we going back to this restaurant? Yeah, when it comes. The service was very good with almost to the end, otherwise this restaurant is easy to change because of its selection, but has also improved significantly since our last visit."

"The locals may forgive me, but I wouldn't call Langenfeld as particularly worth seeing. No city centre with historic buildings, a pure residential town halfway between Cologne and Düsseldorf. When I walk through the city centre, I always have only one semi-concrete house that I would like to call historical – the house Arndt. Built in 1667. Since the oldest secured date comes from a map of 1810, and there is no evidence that can be loaded for time – at least I was described in this way. Now that I just walked past the house of Arndt, I will take the steps together with my family. Surroundings The house Arndt meets inside what it promises from outside – an unprecedented workshop. On the ground floor there is a pub. The upper floors serve as a restaurant, accessible by narrow and quite steep wooden stairs. The old wooden beams are also visible inside and the restaurant is divided into several smaller rooms. The smallest room, a Bayer to the main street, offers space for two people. The rooms are lovingly furnished with pictures, plants, etc. In addition, in good weather there are also some outdoor seats in front of the building. Service When entering the building we were greeted and accompanied by the service. Since only a few guests were present today, we could choose between the different rooms. We decided to dress with most wood – not only wooden beams on the ceiling, but also the walls half high with dark wood. Later we had the menu in our hands. House Arndt offers in particular Irish or Celtic specialties, but also Rhenish dishes and a whole range of vegetarian dishes can be found in the menu. In addition, several varieties of Irish beer, not just the Guinness we know. Overall, the service was very friendly and flott (where too much went on this day), and would like to answer questions about the menu. Food For me it quickly became clear that it will become something of Irish specialities. Finally, my choice fell back to a lamb in an apple whisky sauce with potato gratin. My wife preferred a regional dish with pork carving “Bergisch” with roasted onions, roasted eggs and roasted potatoes. My daughter chose a peasant pancake with bacon, onions, tomatoes and salad, while my son with his beloved cheeses remained in Germany’s “high north”. In addition, I tested two Irish beers: once the Strongbow and another Kilkenny. Prices: Lambs in an apple whisky sauce with beans, cabbage rabies and carrots in bacon, with homemade potato gratin: 17.80 EUR pork chip “Bergisch” with roasted onions, fried eggs and roasted potatoes: 13.00 EUR. Peasant pancakes with bacon, onions, tomatoes and salad: 8.50 EUR homemade fried cheese with salad: 8.50 EUR Kilkenny, Strongbow: 2.80 EUR 0.3 l My daughter was the only somewhat disappointed of your choice. She had imagined the peasant pancake a little different than “as with grandma”. But in the Ed effect it tasted. My son only commented “more cheese should have been allowed”. For this purpose, it must be said that my son prefers cheese in a ratio of 2:1, i.e. twice as much cheese as Spätzle. Otherwise he had returned his part. My wife and I were very happy. The lamb back was delicate pink and wonderfully soft, at best the sauce would have tolerated a little more whisky. Although the potato gratin looked somewhat inconspicuous on the plate, it tasted very delicious. The salads were fresh and finely dressed, but very rocket. My wife was too big, but my son was a grateful buyer. One more sentence to the Irish beers I ordered. Let's say they tasted interesting. The chance to taste original Irish beers with us, I didn't want them to stay unused. However, at least for me they are not a serious alternative to South German white beer. Value for money From our point of view, both the quality of food and the size of the portions are good. If you want to enjoy Irish Celtic or regional cuisine in a stylish working environment, you will find the right place in the house Arndt. There is also a friendly service so I can recommend this place everywhere. However, the building is not accessible to disabled persons."

Was soll`s. Also durch.
