"After we had a little bit of luck with the dinner location selection on the first night, we looked at a location for the 2nd evening during a walk. here it was just a good idea, and the card also addressed us. the reviews were also top, so the next day we personally made a reservation for the Thursday evening (here was closed on Wednesday night). We were given a very nice cute, we felt very comfortable.Since I had already fished on the first night and there was rinderfilet stroganoff, I decided (as well as my guide) for it. for the first time, for my guide couscous, which convinced him tastefully (and also from the presentation). The rinderfilet stroganoff came then also temporally appropriate and made us both happy. for me the meat could have been a little more delicate and a little less creamy, but it also tasted very good to me.The white burgundy made my taste, so I needed a 2nd glass. With the heart of the house you also came into a nice conversation, which made the whole more pleasant. the service itself was also very friendly and attentive.Eactually I would like to try all 3 desserts, but then chose me for the imperial smarrn, which I did not regret. the portion was optimal (of size, fluffiness and presentation).I didn't find the dining room so harmonious with the loving outer facade, here you could find something modern. but this is now a matter of taste. We were happy to have chosen this restaurant for our stay in bernkastel, this was the best evening from our 3 evenings. Thank you!"

"... was not so easy! My father's cousin traveled with his wife from Westerwald to Morbach to fire the grandson in the afternoon at a football match. A nice opportunity to meet us. My approach to Morbach is not far. The search for a restaurant on Sunday afternoon was not easy. It should meet as much as possible a meal according to our taste and also the opening hours had to fit. A small selection made the decision about the host house to the villagerug. The restaurant is located in the “Kirchen Mettler House” around the turn of the century in the centre of the small village. My phone reservation for early noon was confirmed friendly and uncomplicated. Alfredo Paredes was probably the one who leads the restaurant together with his partner Britta Steck. Shortly before the family I arrived in Morbach and parked a bit away in a free public parking lot. Arriving in the restaurant, I was kindly greeted. And a minute later the Westerwälder arrived. Dreamy weather in October, almost you could have eaten outside. But not only in the Westerwald is the wind so cold. No, that day in Morbach. The table reserved for us was unfortunately the worst place in the middle of the room, right in front of the counter. Small table and also very restless. Fortunately, the switch to a quieter table was possible on request. The restaurant is cozy. Hunsrück's moving landscapes are the recently freshly decorated walls. The seats have come clearly in the years. Clean and well maintained was the plant. In service were the boss, an experienced service worker and a young funnel. The young talent was (still) quite inexperienced. Nothing, all three ladies were very friendly. Our drinks: mineral water, soft wheat beer, Coca Cola. And after dinner there are cappuccino and espresso. All three have no appetizers. In addition to the main card, a “autumn card” was presented with fine autumn dishes. Here we were all together. In addition to German and regional dishes, there is also a Dominican chicken speciality from the home of the cook. My companions chose: Rumpsteak with mushrooms, croquettes and salad € 25,00. The croquettes can be exchanged for an extra cost of € 2.50 in roast potatoes. Schnitzel with mushrooms, croquettes and salad € 17,50 The fresh cinnamon trout attracted me very much. Finally, the deer steak won €22.50 with mushrooms, late zle and red cabbage. I like wild. And after this year we could gather many peaches, there was no luck with the mushrooms. And I was very happy about this supplement. During the waiting period for our food the restaurant was filled with spectacular. Other football fans from the Westerwald also took advantage of the opportunity to strengthen in advance. The additional salads were served in advance. Marinated raw food salads and fresh leaf salad with simple dressing. Additional salad Hot steam reached us little later the most important foods. The Rumpsteak juicy and fried as a desired medium. Rumpsteak, roast potatoes, mushrooms Very well the crispy roast potatoes came, they were worth the surcharge. My “Tante” also tasted her juicy schnitzel. Carvings, mushrooms, croquettes The croquettes were abundant and tasted good. I can't win her much, but it doesn't matter. My Hirschkalbrücke tasted excellent. Butter tender and even more medium rarely roasted. Whatever I like. Deer steak, mushrooms, late zle Unfortunately, the late zle were not homemade and probably from the dry bag. The red herb was served in a separate dish, but was also not freshly cooked, because it was simply too soft and little aromatic. Red cabbage I keep red crown and late Zele fresh because I like to get used to it. We were all satisfied with the mushrooms in cream for our meat dishes. Unfortunately, it was probably spiced with scorched broth, so that unfortunately the natural aroma of the noble stone fungus fell somewhat below. Despite less criticism, it cost us three and the portions were very generous. Creating the bill was a long time. The handwritten document was discussed between the young employee and the boss and counted several times with the calculator. There was a lot of confusion. Not only behind the counter, as I realized now: Only the 4,00 € cheaper Hirsche Goulash was calculated instead of the Hirsche Back Steak. The drinks prices were pretty cheap. But even on the handwritten note, I do not see how the beverage prices should be allocated. That was a nice little family meeting with a very friendly inn. When the opportunity appears, I would like to return here. Also in summer I like the outdoor area on the market square in front of the house. And tonight there's fried pepper with us. Even caught and frozen."
