"I have eaten at this specific Nando’s at least once a week for over 12months now and have always received great customer service until I met a person for the first time today, who I can’t tell whether was a male or female in todays world but the persons name was Amanda and they claimed to be the manager. Upon arrival there wasn’t anyone at the entrance to seat us but as we could see downstairs was busy, my friend took it upon himself to quickly check upstairs to know whether it will be worth the wait and then came back downstairs to confirm there were some tables available. I was then greeted by Amanda as I waited for my friend to come back downstairs and said I am just waiting for him to come down to let me know if there was any tables available, which he then did within a few seconds… but then Amanda clearly didn’t like this and basically told us off like we were little disobedient school children, lecturing us about why we shouldn’t just go and check as they have specific procedures in place where we can only be seated by a member of staff as the member of staff has to ask us if we have any allergies (which for me has only ever happened when I am at the till ordering my food) but also commented straight after to say we wouldn’t do this if it was any other restaurant so confidently and sarcastically like we have known her for years so at that point my friend walked straight out as he felt she was being so rude and disrespectful and it was also embarrassing as customers started to look at us so we just decided to leave and eat somewhere else due to such poor customer service thanks to AMANDA."

"On our walks around Kingston we came across this restaurant having been not been attracted with the run down Kingston Good Market. On entering a quiet restaurant we were escorted to the smallest table possible which was unexpected. On asking for a stool or chair to put my backpack I was met with a severe confused response. Surely I was not asking for anything out of the ordinary or possibly my travels to the East had presented more thoughtful aspects and experiences for the diner. Possibly the location of the restaurant there was a strong sewage, dank smell and could be attributed to being next to the muddy Thames River. On a positive note the loud jovial music should put any diner in a perky mood. My daughters Pizza was a good size and looked well made with enough cheese and crispy side with no super charred base that Zizzis and Pizza Express can take a lesson or two. One surprising thing is the cutlery provided steak knives. I certainly havens used steak Knives to cut pizza and it posed a challenge to not my daughter but myself. The serrated steak knives do not lend well to the crunchy sides especially as they solidify as time goes on with the meal. Either that I’m not experienced with Pizza and Steak knives or it is a strong hint at either eating quickly or to use my hands. Irrespective of which my experience left one feeling uninitiated. Finding myself peckish but not quite hungry I ordered some olives which were surprisingly good comparable with Prezzo Olives. The Americano was sufficiently disappointing for our American patrons being half a cup. It was certainly unexpected. Suffice to say I wouldn’t visit this or other Wildwood anytime soon despite the pizza being quite good, nice olives and half a cup of americano."

"I enjoy food there. But menu needs to be updated. I took my little boy to the restaurant for a lunch and he usually liked pumpkin croquettes, so ordered a sushi set which included croquettes. But croquettes did not come so asked the staff then she said they changed menu and if I want it I need to order it separately. The menu wasn't updated and the restaurant did not notify before they serve the food either, so I had to reorder croquettes separately but very unpleasant. It'd have been better if they notify in advance or update their menu properly. And the way the staff said was rather rude as if she was not bothered for having a wrong menu. I went to a restaurant with my child and ordered a sushi set with pumpkin croquettes, which I usually eat, but the croquettes did not come out. When I asked, they said the menu had changed. The changes were not applied to the actual menu, and they were not notified in advance when ordering the food. However, since the change was made only after receiving the food, they told me to order it separately if I wanted to eat the croquette. Even though it comes as a side, since it is a set, you order it after looking at the set. However, I was disappointed that the food was sold using the wrong menu and the staff seemed to take it as if it was normal. In the end, we ordered separately, but since the meal had already been completed and the food was received, the child did not eat it. If there is a change in food sales, please notify us in advance of the change, and it seems that the staff will need training to respond flexibly even if this part is not followed."

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fabulous restaurant that not only exceeded my expectations in terms of its delicious food, but also demonstrated exceptional customer service. What impressed me the most, however, was their dedication to keeping the kitchen open despite the approaching closing time. Upon arriving at the restaurant, my friends and I were warmly greeted by the hostess, who promptly seated us. As we were in for a late dinner, we anticipated limited menu options or rushed service due to the closing time. But to our surprise and delight, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Despite the late hour, the waitstaff demonstrated great attention to detail. They patiently walked us through the menu, recommending their most popular dishes and providing helpful descriptions for each one. Not only did this showcase their knowledge and passion for their offerings, but it also conveyed a genuine desire to ensure our satisfaction. The food that followed was absolutely outstanding, from the appetizers to the mains. Each dish was packed with flavor, cooked to perfection, and presented beautifully. It was clear that the chefs took pride in their creations, as the dishes were bursting with creativity and attention to detail. What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, was their commitment to their customers. Despite being nearly closing time, the kitchen stayed open, which pleasantly surprised us. We never felt rushed or insignificant, and the staff made us feel welcome and appreciated throughout our entire visit. The waitstaff remained polite and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed, and they even took the time to engage in friendly conversation, further enhancing our dining experience. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. They not only serve exceptional food but also exemplify outstanding customer service. Their decision to keep the kitchen open even though it was nearly closing time is a testament to their dedication to their customers' satisfaction. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience with delectable food and exceptional service, this restaurant is a must-visit."
