"we were there with 4 people in the evening shortly after opening. it took longer to look for food than it stood on the table. it was certainly not freshly prepared. all 4 eaten different and were tasty but not a manifestation and quite sharp, even the food that was called mild in the menu, but that should be so when you go Indian. the portion size was just so sufficient, but rather was at the large portion rice. the service was not exactly unfriendly, but welcome we also did not feel (no visual contact and no comment on the order only head nodding), but everything went very fast, even the reordered drinks came within a short time. the ambiente is as you imagine it for one inder, a little cheesy, but cozy. as we were there early the air was still very good in the local beginning, but you noticed how it became increasingly worse. In summary, eating was sharp, tasteful good, but for the necessary too expensive. it was a nice evening, but I don't have the feeling to visit the maharani palace as soon as possible."

"before the cinema visit I wanted to enjoy a warm meal and decided to look in at the iskender grillhaus and decided to take the tin plate (dönerfleisch, pommes, salat). very tasty was the dönerfleisch. the salate was fresh but for my taste with something too much edgy, although I have no problem with sour salad sauce. was not disturbing, but certainly more creative. I prefer thin, crispy pommes, instead of as in this case thick, but that is tasteful."

"Pizzeria Solo D'Oro in the South West City of Karlsruhe has that typical look of a Italian restaurant although the German influences are present. The owners are nevertheless Italian. We go here for pizza and some second dish as we feel at that moment, one thing is for sure, we always take pizza as a starter. The paste is thin and perfectly filled with the topics at your choice or preset if you choose quatro stagione , Margeritha or the pizza of the house: pizza special solo d' oro. Taste this with some nice glass of Bardolino or Chianti Classico and your evening can't go wrong. Service is nice even if one person takes care if it. The service is fast and friendly."

"In the meantime there are two bratars in carlsruhe, in the erbprinzenstr and in the ettlinger tor. my review refers only to the erbprinzenstr, as I have not been in the bratar ettlinger tor yet. I'm not really the burger fan, but I love that bratar. the burger itself can be assembled from many individual parts I find great (also for the bratwürste.) I always have the problem with burgern that the rolls so sown me, in the bratar I have the problem not because there is the low carb variant. burger without buns. also the selectable single parts are super tasty, from the goat cheese, to grilled champignons, jalapenos, red beetroots to fig. of course different sauces etc etc. all single parts fresh and tasty and above all the pattys are not fried dead but medium. also the steaks are super tasty and I love the coleslaw. reservation is however obligatory and the only negative is that when the restaurant is full (and that is it always) it is quite loud and quite sticky. So it is not 100% suitable for longer staying."

"We stumbled upon Alte Bank by accident! We were wandering looking for a restaurant - any restaurant (though preferably German cuisine)! It was 7pm and we were hungry! - suitable for our family: two adults and two small children. We spotted a family with a small child in Alte Bank and decided to give it a try.We ordered what we consider to be basic German fare but were really impressed at the quality of our food. The entrees were delicious (and big!). We had schnitzel (perfectly crunchy!), pork tenderloin (nicely cooked with a delicious sauce) and spatzle (great texture, and so good with the sauce!). Our toddler ate from the kids menu (a huge serving of spaghetti and red sauce, which he loved!). The food came quickly once we placed our order. Everything was the right temperature and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the large portion sizes.Our server was a very friendly women with very good English. She helped us navigate the menu (we have very little German). Even more, she anticipated our needs. We didn't know if they had a high chair (and didn't know how to ask!) - she brought one a few minutes after taking our drink order. When our youngest started making a fuss, she brought him some coasters to play with and then a basket of some fresh baguette (no charge!) to nibble. It was a very down-to-earth, no-fuss dinner with good beer, good food and good service.We would go back for sure - with or without our kids in tow!"

"You enter and it is kind of weird. There are birch stumps from floor to ceiling. Very quirky and it does give you sense of privacy as you can't see very far.I felt very sorry for the waiter as he kept on asking things as part of his spiel for the lunch order, a little bit of a supersize me experience. Would you like to have the lunch menu - this offer comes with fries or salad, drink (would you like the large drink for a Euro more) and hot drink. This is an additional five Euro to the burger you chose. You have a choice of three different type of rolls… And then the same thing for everyone who ordered?!But the burger was great…."

"We have been here for a couple of times now, and in most of the cases everything was somehow neither good nor bad at all. When sitting outside, the weather let us forget the little things about the service, i.e. "it is not allowed to sit on this part of the terrace" or "sorry I forget your xyz" or "sorry that the xyz is cold - I will tell the kitchen". Last Sunday we went here and had the Rumpsteak for 24 EUR and the Pfännle for around 18 EUR - my steak was ok but not hot, the Pfännle was cold. We returned the Pfännle and asked for some extra heat or fire to get a hot meal. They gave it back with some extra hot sauce, but this hot sauce covered only a still frozen meal... lucky us, they never asked us if everything is ok after our first complains. So, to make a long story short: We were really annoyed about this and had a bad experience and afternoon for a little over 50 EURs (including 3 drinks). Usually I wouldn't complain here about this - but it happened now 3-4 times and they make a habit out of it: Every time they beg the one with the cold meal for sorry and offer him or her a coffee - while the others have to wait as they do not get a coffee for free OR have to buy a coffee so that the other person does not need to drink the coffee alone.So, Brauhaus 2.0 - here is an idea: Offer the whole table a free coffee, when you are not able to serve hot meals, as the whole table suffered from the one bad meal - this is what I would call Brauhaus 2.5 - or even better: simply serve hot meals -or- only salads and ice cream, which would make you almost immediately my Brauhaus 3.0."

"I really wanted to like this place but can't give it 5 stars. Beat part was the food flavor. 5 stars for that. You should probably make a reservation as it gets busy around 730/8pm. We stayed about two hours and they were rushing us a bit which lost them 1 star. Also, our bill was around 70€ and cash only was kind of a bummer. Who doesnt accept card? It's 2019. Also, it was difficult to understand the waitress as her German accent was very heavy and she didn't know what was included in their main appetizer plate in their combo meal for 1, which could be problematic for people with food allergies. Miso soup was only lukewarm, and usually at restaurants it's boiling hot. I probably won't visit again. Side note, service was good, people were friendly."

The portions were enough and the food was clean and delicious, the duck didn't satisfy my taste buds though, since the pineapple was too sweet. Relatively Good prices."

"the numerous seating outside are mostly almost all in the shadow, a clear plus point, and you sit on a traffic-smooth road. Extremely uncomfortable are the chairs and benches that are very pressed in the area of the back so that a comfortable sitting is impossible. we would have reserved a table, which would not have been necessary due to the empty one on Sunday. the menu includes all Mexican Spanish and South American dishes that you know. there are also vegetarian and vegan alternatives. the beverages and especially the tequila card is also very extensive and leaves almost no wowishly unsatisfied. as a supplement, we had sweet potato pomers that were excellently crumbling. the prices are not exactly cheap, but the quality is excellent."

"We were looking for a good restaurant, that could accommodate 12 people on rather short notice and that opens early.What we found was a nice small restaurant with a half separated 2nd room, where we all fit in.I had a serving of Tagliolini with seafood (cannot remember the name. It was NOT frutti di mare, but disks of calamari, clams, lots of small shrimps and one big one still in the shell). It was a nice meal and the others enjoyed theirs too.A special tread seems to be the deserts that are served. I didn't have any, but the others were quite happy with their tiramisu and some sort of ice cream."

"After I did not experience bad experiences during a visit to the local with my daughter, I invited four guests to dinner. the memory of it still causes me an enormous amount of what was thought to us this evening. even though reserved in time in advance, one first went on looking for a suitable table. service (annika)? very friendly took up the order. 2x Caesar ́s salad and 3x pizza.1x bruschetta. after an hour came the salat, operation apologised, the pizza would still take, but that the cut strips would not be cold she has already brought the salat. but still were cold and the croutons were totally dimmed. then made me look for the businessman who was on the phone (before loading on the other side of the road) but then wanted to come to the table. it came another man who also pretended to be a managing director, listened to my complaining and then one would not calculate the salad and he would also spend a round beverage. After another quarter of an hour, two pizzas came, which were ok, the third came when everyone had already finished eating. pizza seafood and they were cold. I couldn't eat my salad with the mashy croutons. the clou then came the teller with bruschetta (appearance!) after 1 1/2 hours, which I then let go back, because by now the man who was called the managing director was working in the kitchen that I could see well at the pizzateig process. after each editing of the teige he pushed his shoulder-long haare behind his ears, in his olive green outfit always grabbing the haare it finally spoiled me the appetit. in fact we were offered another drink to the house.
