"Exquisite! Set in the beautiful rural village of High Easter, the restaurant, a listed tudor building, being part of a chocolate box setting, you have fairly high expectations when you enter but these were highly surpassed. I like a bit of fuss and to be spoilt, who doesn't! As soon as we entered a variety of drinks and cocktails were mentioned, alcoholic and non by one of the bow-tied waiters. We had olives and home-made crisps offered to us at our bar table. Then the manager came over with the menus to take our orders. The choices were varied and of high calibre. We made our choices and were led to our restaurant table. Throughout the meal the service was wonderful and I was very happy with my vegetarian choices. At the end they brought over a trolley abound with wonderful desserts. We passed on the coffee then the waitress brought over a tray of sweet treats to finish off our meal. Even though the restaurant was busy we felt we got first class service, comparable to a good London restaurant, and no doubt will be back quite soon."
