"After just returning from a holiday in Cornwall, I called to see if I could get a reservation for a roast on Sunday, September 24th. To my delight, they managed to fit me in a couple of hours later. When we arrived, the barmaid seemed surprised to see us but quickly set up a table, so it wasn't an issue at all. This was our fourth or fifth visit for a roast, and we both decided to have the roast lamb this time. It was absolutely delicious—so flavorful, served piping hot, and portions were generous. I requested extra gravy and the cauliflower cheese, both of which were outstanding. The gravy had a wonderful taste, and the cauliflower cheese was simply irresistible.
