"I know that of course, but strangers of the city can be surprised that when releasing a parking ticket on the back of it you will find a food voucher from Sausalitos. This happened last week. And after Schatzl didn't cut a burger, we went to a late lunch on Sunday at 13.30. The Sausa is at an angle from the train station. Free parking is undeveloped. A few meters went, but nobody hurt. Although some colorful beer tents are quite protected under the arcades, they were still not snow-free and even too cold to sit outside. First surprise when entering: it was quite full. What are they doing here? We found an empty longer table right at the window, opposite the bar/theke. Everything goes casual here, the girl and the young man from service do not differ in clothing from the guests. And her boss wore cap is winter... Overall, everything is colorful, it goes quite loud, the furniture is something beaten and in every corner you don't have to look exactly... I also sat so that I had the TV in the field over Schatzl's head. I don't like that. Today, however, the men Slalom went to Kitzbühel, and so I could follow live as our Felix from Partenkirchen comes to the “Stockerl”. How do you rate such an ambience? They are well served with 3 stars. I'm overwhelmed with the menu on the table. Concepts like Chipotle Chicken Flauta, Garbanzo Bites or Chicano cannot begin at all, which could now also be street names in the southern town of Tijuana.... For this they are at the level of time about allergies or vegetarians. These dishes are particularly marked, so it is easy to find. As expected, Schatzl took a burger Bacon cheese with 180 g pure beef, red onions, tomatoes, iceberg salad, pommes, Mayo and ketchup up to € 12.70 and for me from the Burritos a Zapata, filled and rolled wheat tortilla from the grill with vegetables, red rice, cheese, salad, potato corner and dips to € 12.50 lt. Coupon is the cheaper dish for free. A large Cola light and a large Johannisbeer choir per € 3,10. After almost an hour of waiting – patience is not my second first name – I almost forgot what I had ordered, we complained. The young man of the service apologised with the words that they all had come at the same time. What was wrong. And when our food came, my potato licks were only lukewarm : My Zapata, who should come from the grill, was as pale as a pig that has never seen the daylight and, together with the filling, so soft that you have eaten it without problems when you take his bite and put on the other side! I couldn't make special vegetables, it was unspectacular with rice. Even the salsa was too lifeless for me, and acidic cream is not a taste. Has anyone noticed I don't like Mexican food? Yeah, right! Pure food intake without feelings of happiness.... At least honey found the burger well. An espresso and then pay. Go to the toilets in the cellar, not to put the glasses here! For cleanliness, I forgive 3 stars. Conclusion: For me the Sausa is a beautiful place to go away with friends in the evening. The drinks are well mixed and there are a variety of options. I want to get Nachos. But just for dinner? Is not my... there are too many alternatives in Ga Pa."

"In business for many years, this was our second trip to Gasthof Fraundorfer. The hotel itself is very simple and comforting. While some would call it dated, it is part of the charm of the place. We found that the older furnishings gave a sense...of stepping back in time a bit. The staff is wonderful and both Fraulein Fraundorfer still actively work the property. The rooms are varied and about the right size for a european hotel. This time we reserved a superior room with a balcony and were placed in one do the rear homes that make up the hotel campus . Comfortable and roomy, the balcony had sturdy seating and a smaller view of the scenery. Food wise, their offerings cannot be beat. The breakfast is a traditional bavarian breakfast fresh soft boiled eggs, fresh yogurt, cheese, sausages, rolls, butter, and apple butter. To drink you will get a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and you can also get coffee or tea. Dinner is a real treat, and unless you are eating past 9p you will need a reservation. Live music, large groups, and traditional dancers make the restaurant feel more like a historical common room. The food is excellent, cooked to order and very Bavarian. The sauerkraut is excellent as are the array of sausages. We had our fill of meats, potatoes and beer on the evening we were there. We were seated initially with another couple who were German, so we had a bit of a language barrier, but we has stayed long enough that another couple was seated with us who knew English better. For either meal, it is common seating very difficult to have a private table for two, but can get tables reserved fro groups of four up to about 20. Having other diners with you gives a sense of community and camaraderie."

"General Today was the day we didn't want to eat Bavarian. After all, we had breakfast in our guest house every day, and in the afternoon there were mostly cakes or cakes in the café. What little thing it should be, maybe italian. And so I remembered Enzo, the Italian, where three years ago we fed well with care and treasure. Sweetheart agreed, and so shortly before 7 p.m. we went on a 10 minute way. Thanks to my good memory, we had found his Ristorante right back. Service 1.5* When we entered the restaurant, it looked pretty well occupied. Enzo personally, we recognized him immediately, came to us and welcomed us kindly. My question about a table for two people was quickly done. With a hand stroke he pointed us a 4 table directly to the left of the entrance. The beautiful table framed on one side a comfortable wooden bench with backrest and on the other side two comfortable wooden chairs. Sweetheart settled on the wooden bench with seat cushion. I took place on one of the two chairs with my back to the gang. Shortly after, he gave us the menu and drinks. We have been able to make an impression about the offer. When he came back to our table after a pleasant time, we could also order our desired dishes together with the beverage request. The two Chianti (0.25 l 6, €) came to the table quickly and well tempered. We didn't have to wait long for our dishes. There were pizza rolls in the basket before. Previously on Knabbern He wished us a good appetite, also asked if everything is to our satisfaction. We were pleased with our statement that it tastes very good. Being an Italian with his Bavarian dialect, radiated a certain serenity until... yes until the time that treasures passed a little paintheur. On the handle after a pizza cake from the basket, she accidentally pushed her wine glass. That's what happens in restaurants. At the moment, she immediately lifted up the glass that was not broken. The wine nevertheless rose to the white tablecloth and over its plate, continued to flow to the bank to finally land on the floor. Immediately we can remove the red wine on the tablecloth with the paper napkins on the table. The stains have remained logical. Enzo seemed quite relaxed when he saw the Malheur. He immediately took my wife's plate to the kitchen to pour the red wine. Then put him back to the table, so she could eat. But then he suddenly changed his mood, grumping and bruising, he came over and over again head-spicking at our table. Somehow he had completely lost his attitude. We couldn't do more than apologise to each other. It wasn't broken. Instead of constantly buzzing, it would have been appropriate that he or another would have wiped the wine under the table and the bank away from the staff. Since the seat cushion was also affected, it would have been nice to replace it. I've never seen it in a restaurant. Food 4* My table neighbour chose the homemade Ravioli Salvia (12,00 €). These were filled with real small chopped stone mushrooms, whose distinctive taste was clearly felt on tongue and palate. The ravioli were, visually very beautifully presented, in sage butter sauce on the naturally preheated plate. A little ointment and grated parmesan on top of it rounded off the pasta. Unfortunately, she could not experience the full enjoyment of her dishes to the empty plate. Ravioli I decided once again for spaghetti carbonara (9,50 €. A neat portion, perfectly cooked spaghetti covered with egg, enough bacon cubes, a spoon of rubbed parmesans over it. Tadellos prepared, just as I imagined. Thank God not the unspeakable cream sauce. Spaghetti Carbonara Despite the above-mentioned circumstances, we have enjoyed an espresso (2.20 €, which was typical Italian and very good. Espresso Unfortunately the photos have not succeeded properly. White plates on white ceiling, and also the reflection of ceiling lighting. Well, at the end the ceiling was no longer white J Ambiente 3.5* Clean tablecloths in typical Italian style. Candle, which was also ignited, also lacked a fresh rose in the vase, small pepper mill and salt shakers. The best corners for every place with thick paper napkins were already ready. Cleanliness 4* In the restaurant everything is clean and well maintained, that also applies to glasses, cutlery and dishes in general. Toilet was not visited. Conclusion: An Italian who can prove not only pizza and pasta, but also in higher grade dishes. In dealing with the processing of a painter of guests, he must definitely improve. Finally, we had the impression that he never wants to see us again. And that's exactly what we'll do to him. Overall impression: 2 – hardly again (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results, again, 4 – happy again, 5 – absolutely again"

"If you walk in the Garmischer pedestrian area towards Marienplatz, you will find the Bistro Extrawurst just before the end. After the nasty weather does not allow me to sit outside at one of the high tables, I fled into the interior. The very small guest room was empty to the service and the boss behind the counter. I was very kindly greeted and put myself in a corner “for phototechnical reasons” so that I was not visible from the counter. In addition, I was spared the TV that was running without sound, but I don't like it in a place: otherwise the furnishings are bright and friendly, especially the red artificial leather chairs I like. On the table was already the clear menu in the form of a large flyer. As the name says, almost everything turns around the sausage, partly also offered as a bio. My view stayed with the Hirschbratwurst with supplement €7.40 hanging. On request, I learned that it is served with cranberries, grated horseradish and homemade potato salad. I take this and add a Cola light 0.2 l. € 2, . The served portion then looked quite clear. The sausage was strong in taste, almost a little salty and for me, something too fat. The potato salad was solid but nix special. The cran very mild, and the cranberries tasted like cranberries. Forty-seven Eurons, I hope that the deer has brought a happy life, for I found the price for the bid. I wasn't satt. There was no intermediate demand for it, but I am also in a bistro. For me it must be so hot that the lip sticks almost to the cup, of which the coffee was far away, also the crema was quite weak on the chest. There was a little chocolate. I didn't pick up the toilet. Conclusion: I didn't know a place in GAP where you could get curry or sausages in this way. Nevertheless, the prices scare me. I'd rather go somewhere else for lunch."

"This is a follow up to a review I post 2 years ago when we were hotel/spa guests. Read: “Peace, tranquility and a friendly staff.”Reviewed July 29, 2014 for a more thorough accounting of the Hotel/Spa.Due to business related work we were unable to stay at this wonderful hotel but knew we wanted to return to our favorite hotel in Garmisch, the Riessersee Hotel Sport & Spa. My husband and I hiked up to the Riessersee for a little exercise early in the afternoon while enjoying the views on a cold, sunny day. Once we got to the hotel we enjoyed wandering around the property to include the lake and paths. The Biergarten is closed for the winter and the lake is frozen solid but the pathway around the lake and grounds were all well groomed allowing us to walk without worrying about slippery ice. It is such a picturesque area and though the Biergarten was closed they had set up a little Christmas tree for ambiance. We enjoyed taking photos and walking for the next hour and then returned to the hotel for lunch which opened at noon. We entered and were immediately greeted by friendly staff. We had the place to ourselves and were shown to a lovely window seat with the sun shining in. Perfect! The menu had light fare as well as heartier plates. My husband chose the schnitzel with cranberry and fried potatoes with bacon/onions while I chose the pork medallions in a creamy mushroom sauce with herby spaetzle. Both came with a side salad. Drinks were a pilsner and white wine with a large sparkling water. The food was delicious! The schnitzel was lightly brown and crispy and the potatoes perfectly cooked. My medallions were tender, the sauce creamy and the herby spaetzle was really flavorful! Our side salads were real salads~not a garnish, that came in a bowl with a really nice oil and vinegar dressing. Everything tasted fresh and homemade! While we were eating another large group of maybe 15 came in and then a bit later another large group arrived. Each time they were greeted immediately and someone was serving them right away. Our service was never interrupted though these 2 large groups came in. I paid by cc and due to a problem with their computer I was escorted to the Reception area where it was taken care of quickly and pleasantly. My husband and I were so happy to be back at our favorite place in Garmisch and hope next year when we return we are able to stay a few nights~lunch was wonderful but it made me want to stay longer! :)"

"The Olympiastraße is one of the most important connecting roads between Partenkirchen and Garmisch since YEAREN! At the moment it is so bad that at the beginning of August residents can not even drive by car to their homes / apartments by car for two weeks. And before December the road will not end. It is therefore not surprising that the long-term flower shop has emerged and has moved into the Alpspitzstraße. In this respect, I hardly dared my eyes when I discovered yesterday that a sushi snack called Asakusa was opened right next to the now empty flower shop. So much optimism is amazing, at the same time two cafés were opened and reopened in a short time. It is not only the construction site itself, the excavators, construction vehicles and above all the noise and dust, not necessarily invite you to stay on the small terrace... when the snack is discovered by the tourists who fall like ants over my place. hard to find good luck! When I went out this morning, a couple outside the Sunday rest was possible. There's a little table with flyers on the door, so I took one. Sushi does not appear on my culinary card, but I like to try something new for my life. So the friendly aisate gave me a cup of tea while waiting for the number 65 Spicy Tuna Inside 8 pcs. The allergens and additives were correctly identified on the flyer. If Asian cuisine is so healthy, what does it need sulfur dioxide and glutamate in food? Don't think about it, otherwise I don't eat well; The small guest room is brand new, correspondingly clean, and the four / five tables have the necessary Corona distance from each other. modern and clean.... it is really a small place My order was done quickly, there was no proof, but you can pay quickly with the card. Greta would cheat with all the packaging wastes that are produced, but without going no gastro survives here and this imbrance does not survive twice. At home on my terrace I also had a more beautiful view than the stone desert of the Olympiastraße. The tuna itself was not sharp, the dop wasabi already ignored the ingwerknäuel. The soy sauce that belonged to it was too concentrated to me, because I prefer to take a sweet chilli sauce from my own stock. Satt was me, but the great passion was not evoked. Nevertheless, I wish the little snack all the best. Anyone who opens a place in this coronary period must have the spirit of a butcher dog. May many friends of the cold fish find there. Spicy Tuna Inside €8.50"

"short criticism after we arrived at the day of our trip in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and had covered our beautiful junior suite, we were ready for coffee and cake. after consulting with our innkeeper host, she recommended us the caffeine in the pedestrian zone because it should be the best caffeine in garmisch. the caffeine is quite central in the pedestrian zone. after the homepage it offers 220 interiors and has over 160 exteriors in the summer months as well as 150 covered terraces in the first floor with a magnificent view of the alpenpanorama. the caffeine is doing something. in the outside area under large sun umbrellas, which even offer them with rainy protection, we have a table in the front row. so on Sunday afternoon we were able to observe the colorful journey on the road. the choice of cake, cake, other baked, ice cream and hot eating is great. one of several female services welcomed us quickly and asked for our desire. the different cards were on the table and so we could at least decide for a Haferl coffee. torte or pie is ordered for personal look of the same inside at the counter, gets its bon, which is then given to the service when it brings the coffee. for my piece was black forests, either it was not quite fresh, or it was because the sawed part in the torte was creamier than sawed. I'm always better off my personal feelings. well, I had hunger, it was edible, and so I put my teller empty. also the piece nusstorte could not really convince my wife. the service was okay. the pensum is processed. time for a small stiel with the gast does not remain there. was asked for another question only when they win to pay. the bons are counted on a block with ballpoint pen. there was no bill. Moreover, we have noticed that the cleaning of the skimmer in the rule takes place only when new guests sit on the table. this procedere we have done twice during our Garmisch stay, and if we wanted to go back to the accommodation and the caffeine was on the way. Otherwise we would rather return to another caffeine for coffee and cake on the afternoon, whose chef convinced us. praise and worth mentioning the renovated toilets. clean and beautiful optics. all picco bello. also people who are not allowed in the caffeine are allowed to visit the toilets for 50 cent. and this is good how public toilets lack it in garish. Conclusion: for when dead, the tastes are quite different, I think it is fair when I say: only mean for us. for others perhaps the best caffeine in garish. because of the central location, the caffeine has always been well visited. in the huge space offer you will always find a free space for yourself. also with a pleasant environment can point the caffeine crowns."
