"Went today in a large group of 11. The owner sat us and told us about the history of the restaurant. Most of the dishes are his late mother’s recipes. His father was a sweet old man sitting on the balcony above the restaurant he came down to give out cookies to the young children eating at the restaurant. Instead of ordering, the owner sent out large, family style dishes his favorite mother’s recipes. Everything was outstanding. Fried seafood platter was perfectly fried and well seasoned. Zucchini spaghetti was delicious with smoked mozzarella. And my favorite was the rigatoni with fresh caught squid (he showed us the picture of the squid caught that day). Definitely give Donna Clielo a try we are so happy we did! Very affordable prices. And let the owner curate your meal if he offers too! Especially if you are a large group!"

"We came upon Fico d’India almost by accident and it was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had—-and we have traveled a fair bit. The owner came by several times to check on us—-this is a family business that has now been in operation for 3 generations. The views from the dining room were breathtaking. The service was impeccable—-attentive without being intrusive. The meal was leisurely—but clearly paced as to our mood. I have a rating of average for speed as there was not a “perfectly paced gradual food service with never any pressure to get going” option. The quality of the food itself was superb. The food and wine recommendations were spot on. The price point was amazingly affordable. It’s definitely worth the drive."

"We had a few days stay in Furore which is a very small village with little amenities so we were so happy to find Relish. It is a lovely welcoming restaurant and bar (you need to pre book for food) but the food was delicious and so fresh. A great price too. In our short stay we actually ate there twice and went a different day just for a couple of drinks. Would highly recommend. The staff were lovely too."

"Calamari was cooked in oil that must’ve been re used 1000 times too many. Lighting and ambiance, was way too bright. House special fish had very little, to no seasoning. Risotto was good, but lacked shrimp. Sea food pasta was ok at best. By the time dessert came around we just wanted the bill. Food quality, attention to detail poor."
