"Goldberg impressed me as a magnificent culinary experience. The setting is sophisticated and pleasant in this gourmet restaurant attached to a major conference center in Fellbach, a suburb of Stuttgart. It is a natural destination for those attending events in the nearby Schwabenlandhalle, and a Mercedes station wagon is available to shuttle guests from downtown hotels. The cuisine is interesting, creative, and sophisticated. The wine list is not extensive, but intriguing and at times amusing -- Wurttemburg wines are described as "Local Heros." I went there on two occasions as a solo diner and every dish I ordered was superlative. On my second meal a tuna tartare amuse bouche was superb, and I ordered what is best described as a bag of prawns in batter with three dips, followed by a scallop and pork belly dish which was delicious beyond description. Why very good instead of excellent while I am raving about the food? The staff was robot-like and did not engage, despite their speaking excellent English. During my first visit I discounted this because I was jet-lagged and unsure of my objectivity. On my second visit I was alert and wide-awake, and it was exactly the same. I would go there again with companions, but I would not return solo. Great food I like, but the chill was palpable and frankly unpleasant. If I had walked in in a scruffy or overly casual manner, I could have rationalized this treatment, but I on each occasion I walked in well dressed, jacket and tie and all, after a day of professional activity."

"I got an advertisement from the Schlemmerblock SB. And, why ever, I even opened it and looked at it......Okay, the introduction so far known see previous reviews on the Schlemmerblock Tour. Something inside me always said that that could be good. It was the fact of a simultaneous Italian food shop or even the appealing website. Or the applied themselves and homemade pasta. My wife's always an argument. But let's start from the front: My mother was also covered with a slumber block and even used him with a girlfriend. It was hers again and so we reached the question whether we would like to join a Waibling Spaniard. Hmmpf, Spaniard. Tapas are great, but with a sling block? And the Spaniard? A check in the net and otherwise where did not give a very good abdominal feeling. But before the call back, I started to try the Patrizia. My wife was quickly taken away and my mother asked for the “absage” then logically after Plan B. I already know my mother a few days; That was Thursday. And then, of course, a reservation request for Friday evening was started, which was very kindly accepted and affirmed. At work there was an outdoor appointment on Fridays and lunch went through the laps. The more I was looking forward to the evening. Hopefully not a low impact, was my thought. We found ourselves 10 minutes before the evening opening in front of the inconspicuous house. Two/three parking spaces are located in front of the house and otherwise it was recommended to look in the street. Well, the building regulations require pitches depending on the size of the guest room. Only does the guest know where to be? Never mind. We had one in front of the house. And then? Where are you going? Yeah, bye. Then a small terrace with “Nebenaufgang” opened. Not barrier-free. Whether the small load lift is released into the high divider for it did not extend to me. In case of doubt, only the direct request helps. The very inviting appearance automatically raised the steps and the entrance door opened automatically into a small but well equipped wind catch. And then a space of the so many vinophilic contemporaries opened up to us that moments of happiness could have flowed into the veins. I was just there: do they have a decent beer? But I also impressed this space. From the seating tends to be economical, even the chairs were not even so comfortable when I notice it, so many other protagonists are likely to overstrap their seat meat significantly, and the tables are isolated somewhat small for the covered persons. But the room had flair. Unnoticed! We waited for our presence to be noted and a possible reservation was requested. This did not appear so urgent at the time, but when we left the house later, something was really good. Very good. The friendly Italian I was quite sure, from the dialect he came from the south, i.e. clearly south of the Swabian Alb led us to our table and immediately brought the appealing cards, with the words that they can choose from, to the table. Yeah, the cards. Online is only a part visible [here link] but there were plenty of Italian cuisine. It was also advertised with home or homemade pasta. The choice was not even so easy. Only the salads hadn't done so much to us that day. For this all the more a Vitello Tonnato 8,90 for both of us as an appetizer. When choosing the drinks, I recorded short-term snap breathing. I looked over the three beers that were shown on the map among the myriads of wines. Pils 0.33/3,50€, wheat beer 0.5/3,80€ and a building-like alcohol-free wheat populated a very wine-loaded map. Now there were drinkable and cool beers that quickly came to the table. I don't know their origins, but tastefully they were absolute mainstreamers. Nix Special but not bad. It is understandable that this was and lies in other areas. My dear wife ordered a special organ when the cameriere was visited. However, as Cola/Spezi was only presented in bottles, there was a special 0.33/2,80€ and a bottle of mineral water 0.5/3,50€ . Maybe even better, because at the end a sip of mineral water will be drunk. My dear mother would have been after some appetizer, but she feared too early saturation. So it was good to see that when the Vitello Tonnato was emptied, two extra disks were asked. Let's split it through three. And the Vitello Tonnato was fabulous. Butterclayed veal, which could almost be crushed with the tongue on the palate, with a pleasant tuna cream. Great. Only a tiny little trace more intensity should have been allowed to have the cream according to my taste. This, however, at a high level. But the veal was just a dream. That had been a good impression. To this end, a well-made bread was served, whose consistency was excellently overcrowded and its aroma could also delight. I could not classify the aroma and a demand for a younger waiter remained in the promise to question. Too bad. But it was great and we didn't have to worry too quickly. As a main dish, my mother laughed at a Filetto di Agniello al Balsamico con Verdure 24,90. So lamb fillet in balsamic sauce with vegetables. Lamb is not mine. But someone has to eat that stuff. There is no frightening about my choice here: A pizza salami plus garlic 7,70 0.20. Pizza. And that even though made pasta lured. But women are sometimes, or usually, unfamiliar. So she chose my astonishment: Pizza quattro Stagioni plus garlic 10,10 0.20 . Short note: Surprisingly small prices for extra ingredients. We've experienced that differently. T.T. even really undamaged. So that could also be nice. And the main dishes had also fallen. And how! My mother was completely enthusiastic about the lamb fillet. My dear wife was allowed to try and confirm the very good impression. Great and simple. The pizzas I gather now: “Same, same but different”, would my Japanese colleague say now. It was a slightly unusual dough. Probably with very little yeast. The margin had risen rather little. In fact, I prefer this already here, however, it did not stop the enjoyment. He was crooked in the top layer, and in the inside he was a little airy. The bottom very thin but not softened until the middle and not hard. But the taste! The dough of tasteful intensity as it would have been with other 08/15 pizzas for the whole evening. No more dreams, but a dream. The sugo did it the same to the dough and also enjoyed with excellent spice. The coating otherwise of neat amount and, of course, also tasty. Especially the garlic shined through optical, tasteful and olfactory presence. A “sharf” already ordered at the order came to the table at the same time and did not have to hide. Yes in improper use, it even got into the foreground and had the potential to make the nose run or run. To call out eye pip. For me only unbelievably sweet; for my mother another aperol splash 6. What else would be to be noticed: at the beginning I feared that it might be quite loud in the room. It wasn't like that. Either the guests have just acted accordingly or the ceiling is actually a sound swallower. The quite new and attractively furnished toilets are in turn located in the deep area. The same topic: Accessibility unknown to me. The table number was then paid at the checkout next to the refrigerator. A short conversation with the topic: Why Schlemmerblock? The result was that it was simply acquainted and that a customer base has now emerged. That's what I see. In the Schlemmerblock this house should not be listed soon. "The Da Enzos has already been praised on a veritable portal and also here. We have also heard good things about it elsewhere. Always receptive to a good Italian we finally brought it up here. Thankfully, Saturdays and Sundays are open throughout. Otherwise it wouldn't have happened again. In particular, on Sundays, if breakfast is served only from 9 a.m., a lunch at 13 a.m. is very early. All the more pleasant that in the Da Enzo is open throughout the weekend. The Da Enzo is actually a club home, namely the KVU. This is the Kraftsportverein Untertürkheim. This term seems quite archaic, but it is based in the time when the association was created. 1906. There is thus already over 100 years and on the homepage you can read a nice chronicle [here link] . This is only on the edge, because the actual motorsport has largely entered the background or the departments have been resolved. Tennis courts dominate the appearance at first sight. Vereinsheim even has an advantage: parking spaces. There are sufficient numbers in the immediate vicinity. Even Womo’s would have room in limited numbers. In a short time the drinks came and according to the Insalata. The drinks are not worth the speech, because they fit is not really difficult. The Insalata con Tonno was quite plentiful, even if it does not look that way on the picture. It was asked if there was a second plate. “Gerne!” This was, like the salad, a deep, broad-grassed pasta dish. To this end, a bread basket with cut baguette bread was delivered. The salad looked good and was dressed with an easy dressing for me. We shared and everyone could “help” out of the menagery provided. Fine that a pepper mill was also brought to the table from which I served properly. In total, the salad was rich and visually quite good. It seems to be more and more necessary for the Italian. I remember the Portofinosalat in Winnenden Höfen lion. But times change. The salad goes tastefully as well as somehow ok. But not the menagerie. Although very difficult to prevent outside, people who like to see are not really mosquitoes in vinegar. But there are also landslides. However, a note in this respect was immediately apologised and cleanly exchanged. A highlight were my wife's tagliatelle. I don't know what everything was in there anymore, but even if she might not look superb on the picture she was quite enthusiastic. Very good aroma, appropriate cooking degree and also a few shrimps, she had done the GG-fitting set afterwards: happy again! The pizza was also not bad parents. If I could have wanted a slightly more airy edge in combination with a small track more spice in the dough. But it was quite convincing. A Sugo as I had rarely. Extremely aromatic with real worms! That made a lot of money. The salami slices and the garlic clearly visible on the picture would have liked to have some more inherent dynamics but the “tomato pampe” was quite superpowerful. I don't really want to crawl, though there might be some potential. Perhaps even a sharp oil this time would simply not have been really interested in the certain something. Not that we misunderstood, the pizza was quite neat, but you felt something could go. Overall, we felt very comfortable here. You get enough attention even at the late noon. Only, it went clearly in the afternoon when we had the bill, but no one came to the table to settle it, we grabbed our things and went to the counter where the lady was just busy and paid the buck. Our “Eile” was also justified by the fact that another party was looking for a place on the terrace, and we were just waiting for it anyway. So there was a lot going on at this afternoon. The staff is logically somewhat diluted at this time and we were, as was written at the outset, also glad that there was or exists a warm kitchen throughout. Generally, however, the service is quite versed for this weight class. Beverages are gifted, at least in terms of style, and otherwise it was a friendly and nice touch. What we got in sight was so clean terrace in autumn, clear that there are leaves to feel comfortable here too. Finally, the map offers so many offers that we will certainly visit again due to the good quality of the comrade and NO, I eat not only pizza! The planting of flowers also showed us when we walk, that here is probably a loving and careful hand at work.
