"Sam, at the front of the house, made us feel very welcome as soon as we walked in, and she clearly knew her stuff. Simon, her partner, was busy serving beautifully presented dishes from the kitchen, which reflected his professional training.
I have to give a special mention to the moules I ordered – they were the best I've ever had! The chickpea and beetroot burger that my daughter tried was also a hit. In fact, everything we ordered was excellent. We enjoyed it so much on the first night that we returned again and even managed to fit in a quick fish and chips in between.
For me, this is the kind of place you'd want to have in your own village and feel proud to call your local. Cheers to Blue Plate for a wonderful experience, and thank you for the delicious steak and refreshing limoncello. I truly hope to visit again soon.
