"We have visited this restaurant on a few occasions but turned up without a booking yesterday, on the off chance, and were lucky to get a table for lunch. This restaurant has panoramic views of the gardens and Mediterranean, a truly beautiful setting, to spend the afternoon. The host 'Frankie ' led us to the kitchen to choose our fish (which this restaurant is renowned for) from the fridge. The food, wine and hospitality was excellent. The staff never hurried us and we were truly able to relax and enjoy. We also love the way that 'Frankie ' sits down with his family and friends to dine their selves after their work shift. A perfect afternoons lunch all round. Muchas Gracias Darren and Alison"

"I had a great lunch here. it is a little off the beaten track and at the moment they have no wifi (although this is changed this week), but it is worth visiting the effort. it's nothing nice to see, though its. directly on the water, with a small terrace where they can order drinks over the side window. there are many parking spaces on the front. there is a really pleasant bar area with a massive LP collection and a record player, so they can choose and play their own music, crack and all. we have a little jazz of sonny stitt (which I had never heard) dressed and we all danced around the restaurant, like looneys. there is no beach its black lava rock, but its sturdy and has a cornish feeling. the village itself is a conundrum, it has beautiful detached houses, but everything looks (at least this time of the year) abandoned, but it has a charm. we arrived in the hope that the restaurant would be open as recommended by a friend and it was. there was no menu, but the owner (in broken English) explained there were meat and fish options. we chose: huh (delicious 1/4 huh filled with bacon, sausage and aprikosen) served with chips 8,16 pigs cheeks with wild mushrooms. €8. dorado, this is like bream at €8 we also had an salat for 4 people who could get as crisp and fresh as it could for €6. plus brot and two bowl delicious olives. for drinks we had 4 bottles of sen alcohol (alcohol-free) beer €2.5 per plus a very good bottle of rose wine €8. I also had a coffee as I drove the house gave us free non-alcoholic drinks and an option of a glass anis with crawling, which was absolutely stunning. our total bill was €54.70 for 4 people who can be bad. that's exactly how we always look. it has good food, a beautiful atmosphere and the staff was helpful and very friendly. what are you going to do?"
