"The service was great, drink prices were ok and fairly average compared to other pubs, the atmosphere was relaxed with enough activity. The food was very nice and tasty, unfortunately like everywhere else portion sizes have shrunk , while other food items no longer accompany the dish. I had lasagna which resembled the size of a child's portion and it's no longer with chips making the whole dish the size of a child portion of food. Without sounding condescending, I can make a tasty slightly spiced hotpot with scone topping, plus a potato and vegetable soup to serve 5 for £10 ."
