"We happened into Bujalance after 3pm on a drive from Seville to Cordoba, and the proprietor of a nearby bar directed us to El Tomate. The owners couldn't have been more helpful in assisting us with the choices on the Menu Del Dia. Excellent drinks and food, served with very good grace. The decor is really worth a mention. Almost art deco with coloured glass and dark furniture, and bullfighting photos and a little religious art on the walls. This is obviously a beloved local establishment, but the owners went the extra mile for strangers too. Delightful!"
