"One of the most beautiful recreational areas where other holidays take place is located in just 30 minutes drive from Düsseldorf. Bruges, in the Maas-Schwalm-Nette nature park. Get out of everyday life, relax, recharge forces, prevent burning in a unique nature. Forests, partly with very old trees, rivers and lakes. Go through the Harik lake and let yourself be enchanted. The idyllic town of Brüggen with its historic old town, its castle, St. Nicholas Church, the former monastery and the Dilborn Castle are just a few highlights that make the heart beat faster. We've been there for 15 years in all four seasons. The coronation of these days is an excellent meal at the Hotel /Restaurant Neuenhofen. Especially lovers of the Balkan cuisine and the good steaks from the grill, but also international cuisine make the hearts beat faster. In the first years we visited various restaurants. For over 10 years, Restaurant NEUENHOFEN has been our favourite. Our first address. An excellent cuisine that leaves nothing to be desired, excellent trained and friendly staff that understands a lot of qualitative food and their preparation and always supports us in the selection of dishes. On Sunday there is always an irresistible good beef soup or small rolls with a pot of homemade garlic butter. That from the house. The Julischka, also served by the house, completes a very good meal.
