"Unfortunately, due to unexpected circumstances, I had to change the location of my mother's wake from home to a different venue at short notice. After contacting several pubs near Bentley Crematorium, Carla from The Robin responded promptly and informed me that they could accommodate us. When my daughter and I visited the pub, Carla showed us the space where the wake would be held and took care of every small detail, even catering for vegans without any issues. The pricing was transparent and reasonable. The spread of food was impressive, with tables adorned with fresh flowers in my mother's favorite color. Despite having more guests than anticipated, there was plenty of food for everyone, and I received many compliments on the quality. Some of the attendees even enjoyed the welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the main bar, where the bar staff were delightful. The pub truly honored my mother's memory, and I cannot commend them enough. Although I had seen The Robin many times before, this experience has left a lasting impression, and I look forward to returning in the future, hopefully under happier circumstances."
