"When I arrived with my girlfriend, we weren't sure if the bistro was even open, as it had no customers inside. However, we were warmly greeted by friendly staff who came out from the kitchen. We took a seat, and I asked the waitress about the breakfast items. Before we ordered, we were informed that hash browns were not available because the fryers weren't on. Both my girlfriend and I opted for the large breakfast, which costs around £9 each. My girlfriend requested vegetarian sausages instead of pork and asked to swap the black pudding for an extra piece of bacon. I tend to be pickier and don't enjoy a lot of the full menu, so I inquired if I could substitute the two fried eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, and black pudding for more sausage and bacon, keeping in mind that the hash browns weren’t available either. About five minutes later, our breakfasts arrived. I was surprised to find that I received just one extra sausage instead of the multiple substitutions I had requested. Not wanting to make a fuss, I ate my small portion while waiting for my girlfriend to finish her larger meal. During this time, a man entered and started arguing with one of the staff about his car being parked too close to his. It seemed to be an ongoing issue that hadn’t been addressed. After a brief exchange filled with tension, the man left, calling the staff member a derogatory name, which was amusing given the sausage shortage. After this awkward encounter that created a negative atmosphere, I paid and we left. In the end, I paid nearly £9 for three sausages, two pieces of bacon, two slices of toast, and some beans. If the café had been busy and the kitchen staff were under pressure, I might have been more understanding. However, since we were the only customers and they couldn’t accommodate my requests for extra items to replace those I didn’t want or what wasn’t available, I’ve been put off returning. It’s truly a shame because I enjoyed the limited food I did have; the sausages, in particular, were quite nice. Although I can’t fault the food, the customer service and overall experience were disappointing. I wish I had saved my £20 and opted for tea from Cinnamon just a few doors down instead."

"I ordered a takeaway last evening and never received it .. this restaurant has happily taken over £30 online and then accepted the order, was saying order being made for over an hour and then never delivered .. this is extremely bad service .I rang the restaurant over and over to get no response whatsoever ever .. I'm a one parent house hold and had no way of getting to the restaurant last evening to find out what was happening els I would have , I will visiting the restaurant when it opens to get a refund today . And this reveiw is just so the rest of you know how bad the service is and to never order from here . The services I used to order through were called Foodhub this is my first time using this service and I wouldn't recommend it either as trying to now get hold of a representative now is proving very difficult and I'm not having to chat to a bit and wait over 20 mins to get a response . Terrible service all around . Very unhappy and was still very hungry and by the time I'd faffed about trying to find out where my order had got too it was nearly 10.30 in the evening and it was too late for me to order something else . Very unhappy customer. Small edit here at the end .. food hub it's self have got back to me and refunded this order very quickly once I got through to a human so that's a good thing that came out of this .. thanks to Jack at food hub !!"

"Ordered from Cinnamon for the first time since moving to Reddish last week so thought I would order a few bits to see how they compare to the takeaways I usually go to in my home town of Droylsden. I ordered to collect on just eat and my order consisted of a large chicken tikka kebab, a double chicken burger, a donner and chips and a chicken karahi with pilau rice. I was greeted warmly upon entering the shop and after a few minutes my order was ready to take away. The chicken tikka kebab was pretty good. Very good value at £5.50. There was plenty of meat which seemed to be a higher quality chicken than I am used to. It was a little dryer than I usually get from Indian takeaways in my hometown but I just think the actual chicken meat had less water steroids pumped in it to make it bigger. The kebab had plenty of fresh salad (although not the exact salad I had asked for... cucumber, lettuce and red onion) and a lovely mint sauce. The only thing letting it down was the naan bread was very soggy and mushy. I usually like to tear my naan bread and make my own bite size mini kebabs but on this occasion the bread was ruined. The double chicken burger was exactly what it says on the tin. It wasn't a fillet burger it was a no thrills breaded chicken burger but it was hot and filling on a nice soft bun again with plenty of fresh crunchy salad and at only £2.90 from memory I think it was very good value for money. The donner and chips was a good sized portion for £4. The donner was thinner than I'm used to but wider cut and was extremely juicy and tasty. The chips were hot and had a decent crunch and weren't too soggy which they often can be with donner and mint sauce on. They did lack seasoning and were a little bland without salt. All in all not bad though. The chicken karahi I got for the Mrs as her favourite go to curry dish. It was a little spicier than she is used to. Our usual local is quite sweet and tomatoey. This was more sharp with a spicier chilli heat in the sauce. I tried a big piece of chicken and thought it was lovely compared to the karahi she usually gets at our old local. There was plenty of chicken and vegetables and a very fair portion for the price. The pilau rice was also good we both prefer the tri colour style rice with the green and red bits which you don't always get so it was a nice surprise to see they have this style of rice. All in all it was an extremely satisfying and tasty meal that left us both full representing very good value for £20 for 2. I'm excited to try some more dishes here very soon. 8 10"
