"Stayed here on the 22nd March having driven down from the North East for a meeting. I cannot speak highly enough about this lovely place. Unspoilt charm of a beautiful old pub, fantastic food and a warm welcome from lovely staff. The newly refurbished rooms are lovely too and quiet as they are separate to the main pub. To finish the smoked salmon on toast with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce was a nice alternative to the usual full English, which was also available. Will definitely be back. A real gem of a place."
