"The Restaurant was a great find. Went there as a party of 3 for my birthday lunch treat today. The lunch menu has limited number of dishes compared to the evening one but are very well balanced. I have never seen kadhi chaval and channa jor garam on a uk restaurant menu, so well done for being so original. The restaurant is located nearest carpark 2, so best to park there. The restaurant decor has many traditional Rajisthani puppets hanging high above the restaurant entrance, nice touch. We ordered 3 starters (Street food) which we shared, they had the correct balance of sweet, hot and sour tastes, although I did compliment mine with additional tamrind, chilli and coriander sauces. We ordered different versions of the Thali. This was impressive indeed. The variety of items, presentation, flavour, temperature and amount of food served in the thali (the circular stinless steel plate) was perfection itself. Every dish had its own traditional Rajisthani unique flavour, could not fault it. Thank you Sohan for your personal courtesy you showed us, the table you had reserved for us, my birthday wishes and for having created a truely great, clean, restaurant with a memorable menu. This was amongst the very best food I have ever had, a great birthday feast. It was a true gastronomic delight for my tastebuds. The restaurant is now firmly on my agenda, a great find indeed. Recommended"

"My husband and I have been regular visitors to this restaurant over the years and never had anything to complain about, so when my husband booked for my Birthday with my family (6 adults and 2 children) we were all really looking forward to a lovely Sunday late lunch/early dinner. Our table was booked for 4.30 and we all arrived on time and were shown to our table straight away. We all ordered pre dinner drinks whilst choosing from the Sunday menu. All of our starters were lovely, including the prawn cocktail and the soup, however unfortunately we cannot say the same for the mains.....3 x beef, which of the two slices were fatty and rather tough, the roast potatoes were very very hard and tough and very difficult to cut through, the Yorkshire puddings were burnt and really quite inedible and the gravy, already on the plate, was very thin and watery. My husband had the lamb shoulder which was extremely dry. Vegetables were served to the table and consisted of carrots, parsnips and large slices of onion and swede mash, not a green vegetable in sight. We also had a bottle of wine which we continued to pour ourselves throughout our meal.......in the 'old days ' the wine was always poured for us! It was plain to see when we were 'finished ' eating our meals that there was so much left on our plates as not one of us enjoyed the dinner at all and it was all very dissapointing, hence we all turned down the offer of dessert, although my grandson ordered the kids brownie and ice cream which he enjoyed! Overall our visit was really really disappointing and sorry to say we left the restaurant all saying the same.....we will not be visiting again soon!"

"I recently dined at Aroma with some Buisness clients and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. The first thing that struck me was the temperature of the buffet. Every dish, from the supposed hot entrees to the side dishes, was lukewarm at best. The duck, a dish that should be served piping hot, was barely above room temperature. The supposed hot soups were tepid, making them utterly unappetizing. Not only was the food cold, but it also lacked variety. For the exorbitant price they charge, I expected a vast selection of dishes to choose from. Instead, I was met with a meager assortment of uninspired options. The salad bar was particularly disappointing, with a few wilted greens and unremarkable dressings. The main courses were limited to a few poorly prepared dishes that left much to be desired in terms of both taste and presentation. Moreover, the presence of MSG in many of the dishes was overwhelming. Shortly after eating, I began to feel unwell. I experienced a headache and an uncomfortable sense of bloating, which I can only attribute to the excessive use of MSG. In today 's culinary world, where many establishments are moving towards healthier, MSG-free options, this reliance on artificial flavor enhancers is both outdated and concerning. Given the high prices, I expected a gourmet experience but was instead treated to subpar food that left me feeling ill. I would advise anyone considering dining at aroma to think twice. There are far better dining options available that offer both quality and value for money. Save your time and your stomach, and choose a different restaurant."
