"Bitterly disappointed! We tried to book this place for our anniversary, as we read some great reviews and it was also recommended by our hotel as the perfect place for a special dinner. At first it said it was closed, but on the day said it was open. I emailed them straight away to book. We hadn 't heard for a while so popped in on our way back to the hotel. We got a very blunt 'no ' from the waiter and he was quite rude, so we left very disappointed, perhaps management needs to do some training as this behaviour stops people from booking another day. That should have been a sign right there of what was to come and I wish we had written it off. We later got an email to say they had found a space for us due to a cancellation. In order to be accommodating we let them choose the time for us and we were now very excited to go. When we arrived at 9pm the restaurant was empty! We had a salad to start, it was ok, nothing special. I had some fish alone on a plate with some barely cooked vegetables that I couldn 't eat on the side, for the princely sum of 31€! The fish tasted nice, but not exceptional and there was no seasoning, it was plain and boring. I was also brought a gluten free roll in its wrapper, not exactly a fancy dinner. My husband had steak which he liked, but just a few odd chips put on the side. The food was nothing like the photos online. It wasn 't nicely presented and to be honest we have had better at other restaurants in town for half the price. For this reason we left without having a dessert. The restaurant is lacking any ambience and it felt like we were sat in a caravan awning! We work in hospitality ourselves, so do not like giving a bad rating, but unless we give direct feedback they cannot make changes. We recognise that the staff during the evening were nice and some of the food was ok, so the stars are only really for these things, although no mention was made of our anniversary and they were not very chatty, we speak spanish so there is no excuse for this, so they missed out on getting a higher score from us, as it wasn 't at all special and we couldn 't wait to leave. We would not recommend this restaurant, save your money and go somewhere else!"

"Suelo ir por los Caños de vez en cuando y nunca se me dio por ir y este verano mi pareja y yo fuimos por primera vez, pensé en un principio que no me iba a gustar pero en cuanto entre por la puerta, vi las vistas al mar, ya me encantó, el servicio súper agradable sobre todo el chico que nos atendió. Y ya la comida muy rica y no tardo casi nada. Me sorprendió tanto que volvimos al día siguiente. Nos encantó y estuvimos súper agusto y artitos de comer las dos veces que fuimos. La próxima vez que vaya a los caños parada segura."

"Last night my four friends and I decided to the the Trafalgar restaurant for dinner as we where spending the night in Los canos de Meca, I had eaten here one year before and it was pretty reasonable. Service The lady who served us was very attentive when dealing with us although did seem a little annoyed when we asked to change a few things on a few pizzas but I thought maybe that was just a rule of the restaurant. Food honestly I can 't understand how they can charge what they do for a pizza €12 and it tasted like it was bought from a supermarket and not an expensive one the base was rock solid cold, and the cheese tasted like smelly plastic the tuna on top was not fresh and did not taste like tuna, maybe they put the vegetable toppings on but it was definitely not aretesano as listed on the menu, the brocheta was obviously cooked from frozen as well, my girlfriend a vegetarian ordered the grilled vegetables and although they were well cooked had a strong fish taste so probably cooked on the same grill I was joking at least the bread was good then I realised why €1.20 per peice) but it was probably the only thing they didn 't cook badly. It is a shame suck a beautiful location is ruined by such **** food. I wouldn 't recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy 's. David"

I don't give him stars because it took a lot of time to serve the dishes, they didn't bring us the dessert we had asked for, but if it was on the account, we told him and he discounted the account dessert and the coffee is not good. the waiter is nice and advises you, but he is only for the entire terrace."

"The food very good. We ordered octopus salad, garlic prawns, a tuna tapa with truffle, scallops and shrimp tortillas. Without a doubt, the octopus salad, the tapa and the scallops deserve a 10. However, the individual portion of the desserts is very small for what it costs €4.5 (specifically, we ordered grandma's cake) and they don't have coffee. For this reason I am not giving it 5 stars."

"Llegamos a comer bastante tarde (15:50) y, aún así, nos atendieron de maravilla. Todo lo que comimos estaba rico: potaje de tagarninas con carne y garbanzos (riquísimo), solomillo de atún, pisto con jamón y huevo, carne de toro y calamares fritos. Un diez para la cocinera. Hasta el café estaba muy rico. Vamos: un sitio para probar comida de la zona a buen precio. Service: Dine in"

"Horrible, llegamos y todo parecía muy bien, el trato y todo genialpero era todo una ilusión, no tenían nada de lo que pedíamos, y lo que nos trajeron horrible, las patatas eran de días atrás, la carne pasada, sin sabor, pedimos solomillo, y unos amigos tartar y atún, que dejaban mucho que deseartanto en sabor como en tiempos, más de una hora esperando y éramos la única mesa en todo el localdesastrosola verdad que para no volver nuncaun tartar, el atún, dos filetes de cerdo del Mercadona y patatas de antes de ayer, 94€bueno nos quitaron 10€al decir que todo había sido horrible"

"Not a good experience. We got a plate with olives with our drinks. After we ate some of them, we discovered three pits at the bottom of the plate. Not a nice idea that someone ate olives and left the pits. Did the staff just add new olives to plates that had been served before? We asked the waiter, but he did not understand English or did not want to understand. We ordered grilled tuna: the tuna was well done and half of the dish even really dry. A great disappointment."
