"We were staying at the hotel attached so tried eating here on first night. We queued for nearly 10 mins to get a drink and order our food. When eventually our food came the starters came with the main meal and i had asked for sweet potato fries instead of normal. I received both. When the receipt was checked they had charged me for the extra portion but the queues were too much to go back to bar. also the food we had received was not good, I didnt eat my ribs not sure if they were cooked properly. While we were there we saw many people send their food back and lots and lots of people complaining about the wait. Also they had a man singing and out table was right in front of him and we were unable to have a conversation due to the volume. When the food"

Got order wrong. One meal instead of 4 arrived. Wasn’t hot- taco’s . Air con on and was freezing

I ate in there two nights. Both were excellent. Not the norm menus which was great. I would definitely recommend eating here. My mouth is watering at the thought of the food I had.

the restaurant was closed so that we had to eat in the flea mouse that showed football on every screen, not the atmosphere I was looking for when I had booked a relaxing break for me and my daughter.

I can't put in words how terrible customer service was. I have said eating wrongly that I have told them the order wrong! waits one because until they order to correct our third visit in the Rule great will not come back

We hadn't realised it was a sports bar when we booked. The football was on, the commentary was very loud but as everyone was shouting over it, it couldn't be heard so why bother? The starters came at different times. Not conducive for a family get together

There a wide range of dishes to suite everyone the staff were outstanding. I opted for a superfood salad which I eat a lot it wasn’t it’s usual quality but It didn’t impact on the overall evening. Maybe turn some of the screens off occasionally, got a bit annoying at times cause with the individual restaurant now gone there is nowhere to escape them. Service was excellent in fact the female serving us was outstanding, blonde ponytail. We were really impressed by her.

Since the Sunday set meal has been changed from Carvery in the restaurant to a set meal in the bar it’s dropped in value for money. It was very noisy, kids running around dipping fingers in the food left out, there were drunk adults swearing. The choices of food, including starters and desserts was not up to the usual standard as when was in the restaurant on the set menu. Breakfast pastries passed off as desserts. The only part that was pleasant was the staff were lovely and friendly.
