"We stopped at this cafe as a midway point on the Cleveland Way Coastal Walk. There's a sign for the cafe on top of the cliff, but to get there, you have to trek up a steep hill through a campsite, which was quite a workout—even for someone like me who considers themselves relatively fit! However, once we arrived, we found the cafe to be clean, the staff friendly, and the menu quite appealing. We ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, which I forgot to photograph, but I have to say it was likely one of the best sandwiches we've ever had."

"3.5 stars to be fair. A little disappointed with portion sizes of the mains for the price I paid. The tomahawk pork was basically the same size as a pork chop but with a longer bone 18 pound plus 4 pound for roast potatoes. The kebab burger was very small. 28 pound for a bottle of white and 8 pound for a special lager. All in all 95 pound for 2 starters 2 mains a bottle of overpriced wine and a pint of overpriced lager Food: 4"

"I made a reservation a few days in advance, and when we arrived, I wasn't entirely sure about the place. Honestly, if I had been walking by, I probably wouldn’t have gone in. However, once we stepped inside and were seated, the service and food turned out to be excellent, and I’m really glad we decided to come. We started with calamari and prawns, and for our main courses, we had a rare steak, scallops, and a lobster with squid ink pasta. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted incredible. I will definitely return without hesitation!"

"Burgers are yummy and large. Basic menu but good what they do you must try the deep fried gherkins very nice the two ladies waiting on were spot on and worked hard. The place was freezing so so cold we sat in our coats and were still cold . That was the only complaint great food and service but go wrapped up. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3"

"We went in for drinks only. On arrival, one man was handing his uneaten meal back stating that he no longer had time to eat it. This should have been our warning. We seated ourselves and the waitress just kept walking past our table without even acknowledging that we were there. She took the order of a table who came in after us and we all had to shout her over to get our order placed. The drink did arrive promptly but the Cappuccino was tepid at best. Other drinks exactly the same. A table of three behind us, all ordered food together. Two members had finished their meals and the third member had to ask twice for his food. It was toe curlingly embarrassing service"

"Asked to have a table reserved. They said ok. When we turned up they had forgotten. My wife had the worst pizza ever served up. Looked like a prebought pizza base. With cheese and cubers of frozen chicken topped eith bottled barbacue sauce. Nor recomended and it wss only warm . Spag bol worst ive ever eaten i dont think there was any tomatoe in the sauce at all. Tasted of basil and sage. Wont eat there again"

"While we did hear some noise from neighboring rooms, we were aware of this possibility from other reviews and brought earplugs, which worked well as we heard nothing after 10:30 PM. On our first night, we dined in the restaurant, which offered a bar menu, special offers, and an à la carte menu. They had numerous promotions, and we enjoyed two delicious burgers for just £20, providing excellent value for money. The drinks at the bar were reasonably priced as well. The bar itself was very cozy, complete with a lovely fire, making it a nice spot to enjoy dessert. Breakfast featured a continental spread, with cooked options available for £10 per person. The food was fantastic, offering a variety of choices. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the local village and nearby walks in the National Park. Overall, the food and drinks were great value, with plenty of options and high quality."

"We called in early this evening. We were greeted warmly by Sal, he's a charming witty young man. Askim's is a family run restaurant, spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. We only ordered main courses but Sal brought us a complimentary selection of dips and some warrm bread, which was scrummy. Our mains arrived quite swiftly. I had chicken in a tomato and pepper sauce, my daughter had the same main but with squid. The chicken was a good portion and the squid was plentiful. We both enjoyed our food. We will definitely return and recommend to others."

"Order alot of food and spent alot of money! (which wasn't great but that's not what this is about) 2 of our meals missing and 3 sides, called the takeaway to get it sorted after paying over £90 to be told we are lying! We told them what we had ordered and it didn't match what they had down (because they didn't send it) but they continued to tell us we were lying! After a few phone calls back and fourth waiting to speak to the manager he started shouting down the phone and saying he didn't care about our food and being very rude when we had been very patient with them! The customer service here is absolutely disgusting! How they think that speaking to people the way they did is okay is beyond me! All of the staff there need training in customer service! "1st time ordering. Asked for Thai Red Curry which is on the menu. Did not have Jasmine Rice or Sticky Rice so went with plain Boiled Rice. Delivery driver wasn't given my address only postcode. Luckily he found me after 4 calls. Thai chicken it is not. It is full of onions, capsicum, watery and extremely sweet. More of a watery Sechuan chicken. Actually tastes revolting! Rang and was told it is definitely Thai red curry and to re order will be another delivery fee of £2. I declined and will never order from here again. If I could post a picture of my food delivery I would. But sadly I can't. Lady on the phone who takes orders is very polite. But chef/ cook in the background was shouting at the top of his lungs. If you can't cook Thai food. Take it off your menu!"

"I have eaten from Anastasia more than ten times since it opened and it has become my favourite take away, I usually get the Gyros chcken kebab with salad which has always been gorgeous , ample for one, nice bread and lovely fresh salad with home made Coleslaw. Have recently had the Anastasia special burger which was beautiful with char grilled chicken breast and crispy onion rings and a monster thick homemade burger inside, looking forward to trying everything else. Staff are friendly and speedy delivery ensures it always arrives hot. The garlic bread with tomato and chilli and stilton is to die for. Recommended to all my friends who all love it also. Try it you won't go wrong."

"Stayed here recently while on a weekend retreat at Samye Dzong, just across the road through a small pretty park. Hotel was wonderful, central location, warm, comfortable rooms, loads of hot water, and amazing, thoughtful staff. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, offering to do bar meals in residents sitting room, accommodating guests with a dog, every member of staff made sure guests were treated as individuals and delivered a personal service. Breakfasts were generous, tasty and very well priced and the bar meals were also very good. I think this hotel delivers excellent, personalized service, at great prices, in a very central location.
