"Ten of us went to this restaurant for our Christmas dinner, and I was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating they were. The chef, Gareth, took the time to put together a special menu just for me as the only vegan in the group, featuring three appetizers and three main dishes to choose from. The food was absolutely delicious! Everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals as well. I highly recommend this place to all my vegan friends, as many pubs and restaurants often struggle to provide decent vegan options. I hope this encourages them to keep expanding their vegan menu. Wonderful place! The chef is amazing!!! Food out of this world. Staff amazing v dog friendly. Have our own table with our bulldog who has her own bowl of water and bones. Kath fantastic lady

What a lovely pub with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The out door area is very well presented and recently refurbished. We only stayed for drinks but would definitely go back and try their food. Service was quick and prices reasonable. The guiness was good.

Just spent a couple of nights here and it was an absolute delight.superb food.Rib Eye steak an absolute must and so was the Fish pie superb room.superb service and the staff were brilliant.thank you to everyone at The Tradesmans Arms for looking after us..looking forward to coming back for sure. Bluey the budgie received a warm welcome, and his water bottle was promptly filled. He happily chirped away as we enjoyed a fantastic dinner, complete with all the fixings, followed by some delicious ice cream. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and cheerful, making for a delightful experience. The establishment prides itself on serving local products with both a smile and a sense of humor. I highly recommend this lovely pub; it is spotless and well-maintained.

Even on a hot day, I couldn’t resist trying the steak and ale pie, and I’m so glad I did. It was, without a doubt, the best pie I’ve ever had, filled with tender pieces of steak and topped with a perfect crust. My partner opted for the special mussels, which were also a popular choice, leading to a lively dining experience full of excitement. Dogs are very welcome here, and we wished we had brought ours along, as they had made quite a few furry friends during our visit. The service at both the bar and restaurant was outstanding. Overall, it’s a lovely pub that serves fantastic local food in a great atmosphere.
