Easily the best fish and chips I've ever had. The batter is very light and crispy and the fish is very fresh. The service was courteous and quick.

I’ve had much better fish and chips at other places for half the price, and they tasted far superior. I wouldn’t recommend this spot. Service: 3, Location: 3.

we have set up after opening jus and the service for taking was really fast. she asked the workers about cod or squid and informed me about the aromes that helped me select. child meal was a good size for 6 years old. adult sizes good and filled us.

This place is a definite must-visit! The fish and chips are excellent, and there's a wide variety of other items on the menu as well. They also offer a good selection of vegetarian dishes. It's licensed too, so you can enjoy dining in or opt for takeout. Voir le carte

visited russell’s fish chip restaurant yesterday. had to wait about 10 minutes for a table as he was busy, but it was worth it. we had the cod, chips, muddy heaps and wetar sauce. batter was light and crispy. would definitely recommend a visit if they are in the opposite.

This is a solid spot for fish and chips. The fish was a bit oily, but it remained crispy and was of good quality. I enjoyed the tartar sauce, which I believe was made in-house, and the peas were a nice touch. The food arrived quickly, and the service was friendly. If you're looking for a more affordable option that doesn’t feel too upscale, this is a great choice.

We nearly overlooked this gem, as it's hidden away at the side and back of their more upscale restaurant with the same name! We visited on a Saturday lunchtime during a weekend getaway, drawn in by the promise of gluten-free fish and chips. We were thoroughly pleased with our choice! The batter was crispy, the fish was generous, and the chips were excellent. The coffee was enjoyable as well! Voir le carte

This restaurant boasts a convenient central location in Broadway, with ample parking and easy accessibility. The food is freshly prepared, delicious, and wholesome. It’s a great spot for dining in a well-presented atmosphere, but also perfect for those on the go. The young staff provides excellent professional service. Overall, this place is a valuable addition to Broadway. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

I only tried the fish and chips, and I didn’t realize the place was also a hotel. The fish and scampi were excellent, and the chips were not overly greasy. They were served with delicious tartar sauce and peas. The portion sizes were generous. The service was incredibly friendly. My only minor complaint is the price, as it’s around £15 per person, but I found that everything in Broadway is on the pricier side. Overall, I’d rate the rooms, service, and location all as 5 out of 5.

"rebooked the garden space in the dormy house during the stay near the fish hotel. the environment was very warm and welcoming, and overall eating was very good. but the service was lacking and made us confused by reconciliation. In view of the thoughtful and extensive weinlist we could see one of our favourite mixes from South Africa on the menu. after ordering, and about 15 minutes later, the server back to say there was a mistake, and they put the wrong varietal on the list and wanted to serve us a completely différent wein from this manufacturer. we ordered another bottle in harmony with the food we ordered. but our appetizers came before our wine. wait another 15 minutes (we are now 30 minutes in our dinner without wine) and the waiter comes with another bottle saying that they have lost our bottle, but for us to drink this while we wait. no explanation and not even the wine she poured. that was the last thing we saw from our waiter, because somehow the room was busy and she took the other guests for the rest of the night. we finally got our wee who was brought to the table without the cork. strange practice to get a restaurant of this caliber. when we finished our dessert, we fought for 20 minutes to get every server to recognize us or to delete our records. So we went to the server station to ask for the bill. we have observed our server work at least seven different tabs before we had to go up a second time. when the bill came, the server did not even ask us how our dinner was. we gave our credit card and the other server took it away. she returned 10 minutes later to say that she lost the connection. she gave us the card back and canceled the processing statement and said she couldn't charge our card. she did not know what to do and asked if we were with him at the reception (even if we were not guests of the hotel) will not return."

"We (family of four with a teen pre-teen are staying in Childswickham just outside Broadway for a weeks holiday so thought we’d try the Childswickham Inn Brasserie as we could walk there through the pretty village, it has great reviews and it’s dog friendly. We booked for a Friday evening and were given our choice of tables in the very pretty garden area. Everything about the place is wonderful. The pub itself is a lovely country style inn with a very warm welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor area is beautiful with a lit pergola under canvas canopies and very comfortable chairs and roomy tables. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful and made a fuss of our two Labradors. The food was superb. Honestly some of the best traditional-but-next-level pub fare we’ve ever had. I had the pie of the day which was lamb, husband had Cumberland sausages and the kids had burgers. All completely homemade, served quickly, fresh piping hot and with generous portions. Husband suffered from extreme pie envy when he tasted my dish! We couldn’t resist the puds so opted for sticky toffee puddings and chocolate brownie. Again, all homemade, generously portioned and utterly delicious. The food was so good we decided to spend our final meal here and opted for Sunday lunch. We all had sirloin of beef which were served with the best (and biggest! Yorkshire puddings we’ve ever had. We’re from Yorkshire and we know a perfect Yorkie when we see (and taste one and these deserve the highest praise. The beef was perfectly cooked, thickly cut and it melted in the mouth. It was served with a generous portion of roast potatoes, cheesy leeks (a personal favourite! , a selection of perfectly cooked veg lovely rich gravy. Desserts were equally fabulous. Genuinely up there with the best food we’ve ever eaten and exceptionally good value. I just wish it was closer to home as we’d be returning constantly! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Perfect food, wonderful service, lovely ambience and surroundings and great value, more than deserving of five stars. Thank you for two wonderful visits, you were a highlight of our holiday!"
