Excellent service. Food brilliant turkey roast and sticky toffee pudding. Plenty of veg. Only tiny negative was 'not enough ice cream with pudding ' . Great value for money though.

this was a welcome look after the Derwent hike. we had only drinks, but the staff was very friendly and brought my dog even a bowl of water. I have to come back to lunch because it looked amazing. Voir le carte

This is my local pub, and it's outstanding. The food is delicious, the beer is excellent, and the staff are friendly, creating a wonderful atmosphere. When the weather is nice, the views from the beer garden are incredible.

here for my mams 70th birthday, as we have been a few times before and have always really enjoyed it. only the atmosphere as soon as they sit in and even the local sitting at the bar make it to be a nice friendly place. eating was first-class and a great selection of ales to wash it was just as good. not least I would like to thank the excellent friendly staff that he makes my birthday a perfect night.
