"Kulinarisch sehr gut und schön urig dekoriert. Leider in der Regel von Holländern überflutet, sodass für deutsche kein Platz mehr ist und man gelegentlich sogar auf Englisch abgewiesen wird. Telefonische Erreichbarkeit ist praktisch nicht gegeben. Mittlerweile gehe ich auch nicht mehr hin, wenn man nicht erwünscht ist und man lieber mit lärmenden Holländern anbandelt, unterstütze ich lieber andere lokale Restaurants. Sehr schade. Sollte irgendwann wieder Platz für Ortsansässige Kundschaft sein, würde ich vielleicht wieder hin gehen."

"Ganz entzückend! Wir haben zur Feier des Tages zu dritt zum Mitnehmen bestellt! Leider haben wir nicht die aktuelle Karte Zuhause gehabt und mussten auf die harte Art feststellen, dass die Preise gestiegen sind. Die Preise sind gestiegen aber an der Qualität hat sich nichts geändert. Deshalb auch der Punkt Abzug. Die alte Karte hat uns vom Design gut gefallen aber das neue Design, welches wir beim Kauf dazu bekommen haben, lässt sich auch gut sehen. Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden. Die salmon tempura Rolle war sogar noch nach der 15 min. Autofahrt warm und knusprig. Die Boston roll, kenne ich persönlich (die in Boston gelebt hat) mit Kavier außen, aber in der Beschreibung war eh Sesam beschrieben. War anders aber trotzdem super lecker. Die hot spicey salmon roll gab unser Bestellung etwas pfiff und war mit unter unser Favorit. Dazu zählte auch die red Dragon Roll. Nur empfehlenswert. Dazu hatten wir noch das Menü 7. Die Maki waren Standard. Ich mochte die Ruccola Roll am meisten, vor allem verlieh das gute Wasabi und die Soja Soße den gewissen Touch! Das wasabi hat auch den test gegen ein wasabi zuhause aus der Tube bestanden (ob das jetzt ein flex ist müsst ihr selbst entscheiden). Das Haus wasabi von Sakura war der klare Sieger der Runde, obwohl die Farbe sehr unnatürlich wirkte. Es kam kaum dazu ein Bild zu schießen da schon beim Anblick das Wasser im Mund floss. Um so schneller war das Essen aufgegessen. Es hat uns gut gesättigt. Das Restaurant habe ich selbst nicht von innen gesehen deshalb kann ich das Ambiente und das Essen Anrichten vom Essen vor Ort nicht bewerten. Zum mitnehmen ist der Laden aber auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Nur waren die Sushi Stücke bei unser großen Bestellung etwas gequetscht. Aber der Umwelt wegen, ist’s wahrscheinlich besser weniger Verpackung mit zu geben. Sakura Sushi Ist außerdem ein sehr cooler Name, der mich an meinen Lieblingssushiplace in Boston erinnert. Sakura in Mayen ist unser Favorit in der Maifelder Umgebung (in größeren Städten gibts jedoch noch bessere sushi places). Wir waren grundsätzlich sehr zufrieden."

"on Easter Monday we came hungry from the swimming pool and wanted to go to mayen for something to eat. I asked the hired after two glasses, one of them was totally dirty. after a little time eating came along with a small basket in which 4 pizza rolls lay. the food tasted in the average. in the lasgne one could look for the chop meat that is suitable for oysters, but it did not find much. here you could say that the starving is driving. 18 € to eat on the counter. back? no thanks! has absolutely not promised us about the environment. should be urgently renovated."
