service was good and eating was ok, but not specifically for the question price

Had a great meal at Cafe Rouge Cheltenham. We both enjoyed the French Onion soup and Duck, and my date was very satisfied with her meal as well. The service was good and the prices were reasonable.

Our first visit to Café Rouge for a while, taking advantage of the free bottle of Prosecco on my birthday. A most enjoyable lunch: food, cooking and service of high quality. No fault to find at all.

Nice food but very pricey. Service started out well but once the waitress for our table left no-one seemed to want to take over! It wouldn't be my choice of restaurant but having been given a gift voucher, I didn't want to waste it.

Booked online with open table. Friends birthday 60th get together pre Christmas. Arrived at 14.00 hours and no booking!! The manager very helpful and did get a table for us. Food ok. 4 bottles of wine between 6. Starters good. Platters nice. Mains just ok!! Puddings good. Overall experience was ok. Will return as cafe rouge is a very handy meeting place. Central Cheltenham.

I was very disappointed with my meal last Saturday lunchtime. I usually order boeuf bourginone and meat lovely tender and lean. This time there was an awful lot of fat which was very off putting and spoilt my meal. I mentioned this to our waitress at the time who didn't appear bothered at all that we were not happy. Will be a while before I visit the cheltenham branch again.

We reserved a table for 3 people, but only 2 of us showed up initially. The waiter confirmed our reservation and then seated us at a table for 2, which wasn't an ideal start. The tables were so close together that it lacked privacy and made us feel cramped. The restaurant was busy and loud, making it challenging to have a conversation. While the food was tasty, we found it to be overpriced for the portion sizes. This dining experience was supposed to be special, but we left feeling disappointed.

we had a pleasant meal. I was annoyed, however, that I could not use a 25% voucher that I had given in a previous meal in the cafe rouge in newcastle. I actually just came out of the reason to use this voucher, so there was a bad feeling that was really stupid becuase I now will not be in such a hurry to return if I had been to return, the discount had allowed because there was no complaining. I feel very short, and the restaurator would be better not to give any voucer as it can, as in this case, have a completely negative effect. they told me I could come back and use it at another time, I pulled it up and left it on the table!

We used to dine at this restaurant frequently and enjoyed the great food, child-friendly environment, quick and friendly staff, and good value. However, during our recent visit on Mother's Day, my wife arrived before me and struggled to get a pram through the door while the manager watched without offering assistance. When we tried to order, we were informed that half of the menu items were already sold out. My wife's filet steak arrived overcooked despite ordering it medium, and when she brought this up to the server, they just shrugged it off.
