"Ein Termin verschlug uns nach Limburg – gar kein schlechter Termin. Ein wirklich schönes und sehenswertes Städtchen. Die Altstadt überzeugt noch mit wirklichem Einzelhandel statt Ketten, gut besuchte Gastronomie, viel sehenswertes Fachwerk (die viel und medienerfahrene Residenz von Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elz haben wir auch besichtigt, aber kein Zimmer bekommen). Zum Mittagessen sollte es regional sein. Daher entschieden wir uns beim Schlendern, die Entscheidung fiel nicht leicht, für das Schlössje . Familienbetrieb mit angegliederter Bäckerei und Café, gegründet  1926. In dritter Generation wird es nun geführt, das muß man erst mal schaffen! Parken vor der Tür ist hier nicht. Wir parkten im Parkhaus, ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg. Service: Regional deutsch-türkisch-freundliche- Servicekraft vermittelte uns den Eindruck des Lahn-Türkisch-Adria-Urlaubes. Wir fühlten uns gleich wohl. Karten gereicht, Getränke aufgenommen und flott serviert. Speisen aufgenommen, nach angenehmer Wartezeit serviert. Bedienung durch diese Mitarbeiterin und einen männlichen Mitarbeiter freundlich, unkompliziert und aufmerksam. Speisen und Getränke: 2 Rieslingschorlen, 0,2 l zu 3,80. Mich wundert´s immer, wie die Preise bei einfachen Schorlen mit schlichten Weinen differieren. Die Schorlen gut, kühl und mit „Sprickel“. Mein Mann wählte die hausgemachten Semmelknödel mit Waldpilzen in Rahmsoße, Preiselbeeren und gemischtem Salat zu € 10,80. Vorweg wurde der kleine und frische Beilagensalat mit leichtem Sahnedressing serviert. Danach 2 schöne Semmelknödel mit Pilzrahm. Die Pilze  Tiefkühlware oder sogar eher aus dem Glas. Geschmacklich gut, aber leider sehr schwer im Magen liegend. So suchten wir später eine Apotheke (erfolgreich mit pflanzlichen Kräutertröpfen) auf. Sicherlich war die Ware ok, bei frischen Pilzen hatte mein Mann allerdings noch nie Probleme. Ich wollte dann „typisch hessisch“  und entschied mich für: Frankfurter Soße (hausgemacht) mit gekochten Eiern und Butterkartoffeln zu € 8,80. Vorweg bestellte ich auch den Beilagensalat, bei mir für € 2,50 extra berechnet. Das Essen wirklich gut, so werde ich es auch bewerten. Den einzigen Fehler habe ich gemacht. In geistiger hessisch-regionaler-Umnachtung! Ich esse gerne warm, bin kein Fan üppiger Soßen und Eier müssen für mich weich und warm sein (die lieben Leser können jetzt denken was sie wollen). Das Gericht ordentlich bemessen, die Kräuteraromen der reichlichen Frankfurter-Soße kamen toll durch. 3 halbierte hart gekochte Eier stellten mich vor eine Belastungsprobe, aber gut. Meckern kann und will ich nicht. Ambiente und Sauberkeit: Für dieses Haus absolut stimmig. Gediegen und ländlich/rustikal, sauber und gepflegt. Toiletten sauber. Tische außen nett eingedeckt, wobei ich abwaschbare Tischdecken nicht mag, dann lieber Tisch pur .          "
