"This place is the reason why we love Asian food. Though we live at least KM away, we manage to dine here at least twice a month. My wife is lucky, she works in Landstuhl and I sure she orders the take out once...a week. Every dish has been great, most have been fantastic. The staff are the best, friendly and will cater to your every need without a fuss. Food is seasoned perfectly. Not full of MSG. Never had a better Won Ton soup anywhere. The Vietnamese Spring Rolls are the greatest. Healthy and Tasty. My favorite dish is the Birds Nest If you live in the area or just visiting, you must try this place. I recommend anything on the menu."

"I’ve been to Thailand multiple times, and often eaten Thai food at restaurants around the world and I can say without any doubt this is the best Thai food you’ll have outside of Thailand. They add all the authentic ingredients and you can really taste...it. I also think the staff are all really nice and they take care of you. Their crispy duck is amazing, all their curries are fantastic and you can’t miss the Papaya salad!"

"This spot used to be my "go to" restaurant for great Italian food for dinner with friends or for family when they visited. Now, I'm sad to say that at best it is very good and at worse it's fair. When the kitchen is "on" the food is a good representation of quality Italian food. Pizza is usually a safe dish, as are the salads. There is plenty of room for large groups and there is a cheerful patio out back. I've lived in the area for going on 10 years and I still eat there hoping it will be a good night for the kitchen."

"When you get tired of Kebaps and Schnitzel while in Landstuhl, or want to touch base with fellow American expats, stop in here. The locals have told me it's a bit on the pricy side for restaurants in the area, but you get what you pay for.The service is fast, the staff friendly to the point of remembering your name the second time you return, and the food is excellent. Reservations are accepted but you can usually drop in and sit at a table or at the bar if you like. The staff have all been there for at minimum of five years, based on my visits, and they all speak excellent English. My favorite dessert was a Nutella Crepe, whipped up by the owners 10 year old son!"

"I used to eat here several times a month when I lived in the Landstuhl area. I still make it a point to stop here when I visit from Stuttgart. This is the best doner I have had in Germany and easily in the top 1 or 2 in my life! He uses beef, not pork, and the meat is seasoned to perfection. The doner sauce is also perfect. He runs the shop alone so sometimes the wait can be long, especially around lunch time. The shop is small and parking is always a challenge since the shop is on a narrow 2 way street, but the trip is always worth it. I compare every doner to this one and so far, Ali Baba is still the King!!!"

"Our women's soccer team invaded this lovely cafe three times over a 5 day visit. The gelato and other treats were delicious and we learned what spaghetti ice cream, and a well made crepe, are all about! The ladies were gracious and patient with the 18-40 of us who descended upon their small shop in the evening. We ordered everything from 1 Euro cones to 5 Euro crepes and other ice cream treats. No one left disappointed. They have an upstairs room, and outdoor seating that fit us all."

"Abstand zur Autobahn ca. 50m. Es ist sehr laut. Zusätzlich direkt an der Einflug-abflugschneise des US Flugplatzes Ramstein. Offenes Fenster in der Nacht nicht denkbar. Zimmer ohne Fenster. Nur eine verglaste Türe, bei welcher der obere Teil augeklappt werden kann. Aus Umweltgründen werden die Zimmer nicht täglich gemacht. Nur dann, wenn man es explizit möchte. Zimmer sind in mehreren Bungalows. Das Haupthaus (Frühstück, Abendessen) ist nur über den Hof erreichbar. Restaurant ist geschmacklich gut, Preis allerdings recht hoch. "Das Ambiente als auch die Innenraumgestaltung sind schon etwas aussergewöhnlich, aber durchaus mit Wohlfühlfaktor. Die Gerichte entsprechen dem Bistrocharakter, sind gut und ausreichend portioniert. Störend ist der äusserst hohe Geräuschpegel, auch wenn das Lokal nur halb besetzt ist. Teiweise nervig ist auch das Personal, welches schon neues bringen möchte, wenn das bestellte noch garnicht verzehrt wurde. Etwas weniger Übereifer wäre wohltuender. Resümierend wäre zu bemerken, daß Unterhaltungen wohl nicht im Sinne des Veranstalters sind, was wohl auch an der nicht schlechten Hintergrundmusik liegt."

"I went here last night with a large group of friends. It is just off the main street in Landstuhl and an easy walk from the city cwnter. The pub is easy to find and is painted bright red. The pub is kind of small but they have two rooms. The staff are very friendly and there are always American's hanging around. The beers are what you woud expect and they do make great mixed drinks. We were there too late to eat so if your hungry after midnight you better eat befroe arriving. We stayed until nearly 2:30 AM so it was open plenty late."

"I'll keep this short and sweet. I grew up in Heidelberg, Germany and I have loved eating Döners ever since my first one back in the day. I've tried them everywhere across the globe and this place is by far the best! Ali is a cool dude and his food will definitely make you come back. Unless you like to stuff yourself, I would recommend getting just a regular Döner and a drink. If you add some fries you will need some extra time before you can get back up."

"Etwas versteckt am Ende des gleichnamigen Aufganges, beschließt die Andreasstube den Weg in den ältesten Teil der Stadt, was der kleinen Gaststätte schon einen besonderen Reiz verleiht. Der Gastraum erstreckt sich über zwei Ebenen und ist zu Stoßzeiten schon recht eng bemessen, da die Bestuhlung den unteren Raum vollständig ausnützt. Die Empore im oberen Stockwerk eignet sich recht gut für kleinere Gruppen, wobei die offene Gestaltung zum unteren Teil des Lokals einen recht hohen Geräuschpegel zuläßt. Auf das Essen mußten wir trotz halber Auslastung mehr als eine halbe Stunde warten. Die Küche ist gut bürgerlich, wobei wohl einiges an Fertigprodukten Verwendung findet. Dies kann durchaus auch in gehobenen Segmenten der Fall sein und schmälert subjektiv betrachtet nicht den Aufenthalt. Resümierend wäre zu sagen, daß ein Besuch ganz sicher lohnt, was nicht zuletzt auch an der rustikalen Einrichtung und den freundlichen Wirtsleuten liegt."

"Le stationnement est gratuit et sur place, comme nous l'avons conduit là-bas, il semble que c'était une zone de club de tennis avec des terrains de jeux pour enfants et le restaurant est comme un centre pour les parents de s'asseoir et de suspendre pendant que les enfants jouent et pratiquent un tennis ... Quelqueseses comme un club de tennis décontracté, mais tous les clients sont les bienvenus même s'il ne fait pas partie du club. Ils ont un salon intérieur charmant et un superbe coin salon de jardin extérieur et rafraîchissant avec un service de table dans tout le restaurant est très mignon et les employés sont super sympathiques. Ils parlent anglais, allemand et ressemblent également à ce que la parole peut-être italienne. Panier de pain complémentaire ici Ils donnent un panier de pain complémentaire mais pas de beurre, alors ... Le pain est préférable à utiliser pour tremper la sauce hors de la plaque de pâtes, ou si vous voulez bien manger du pain sec. Nous n'avons pas demandé de beurre pour que je ne suis donc pas vraiment sûr que c'est une option, mais je souhaite que cela vienne déjà avec le pain. Pain à l'ail Le pain d'ail est vraiment bien. La portion est assez petite que la portion ne dispose que de toasts, moins c'est l'un des meilleurs pains d'ail que j'ai jamais eues. Gnocchi Gorgonzola Quel plat incroyable !!! Ce plat est délicieux, je reviendrais certainement ici juste pour une assiette de ce plat. La saveur crémeuse et savoureuse du fromage gorgonzola sur la sauce est tout ce que j'avais rêvé de. Le gnocchi a été cuit à la perfection et toute la plaque a eu du sens. Nous avons dû demander au fromage de parmesan, mais quand ils nous ont eu, c'était assez pour toute la table des gens, donc je suis d'accord avec ça. Ils prennent des cartes et de l'argent, je ne suis pas sûr de prendre des dollars parce que j'ai payé sur une carte. Je recommanderais certainement cet endroit"

"Wir hatten uns auf einen angenehmen Abend im Garibaldi gefreut. Wir haben es hingenommen dass wir in eine Ecke im zugigen Eingangsbereich plaziert und dass der Ober beim Servieren ständig über unsere Teller reichte.Wir Erwachsenen mussten ja auf unser Essen schon lange warten, aber es spricht nicht für Kinderfreundlichkeit wenn die Kinder nochmals 10 Minuten länger warten müssen, und das für eine einfache Portion Pommes mit Majo und Ketchup. Ein guter Gastronom serviert auch seinen kleinen Gästen die Pommes nicht mit dem Daumen in der Schüssel und nimmt vom Teller des Kindes auch keine Pommes, zieht sie durch die Mayonnaise und isst sie genüsslich. Das ist nicht lustig. Als er darauf angesprochen wurde zieht er die Sache ins Lächerliche und wird beleidigend. Er meinte sogar dass wir ihm den Abend verdorben haben. Doch noch nicht genug. Beim Verlassen des Lokals teilte er auch noch ein Hausverbot aus. Es gibt auch Gastwirte die einen Fauxpas durch eine nette Geste wieder gutmachen wollen doch dieser Herr hat nichtmal gemerkt dass er mit seiner affigen und selbstverliebten Art uns und unseren Gästen den Abend verdorben hat."

"Ich habe das Restaurant Akropolis besucht und war sehr zufrieden mit meinen Besuch. Die Vorspeisen waren besonders lecker, darunter Peperoni, Bruschetta und überbackener Schafskäse und weiße Bohnen haben wir bestellt. Die Portionen waren großzügig bemessen und die Zutaten waren frisch und von hoher Qualität. Als Hauptspeise hatten wir die Akropolis Platte bestellt, die für die uns alle (3 Personen) ausreichend war. Die Platte enthielt 2 Suvlakia, 2 Rumpsteaks, 2 Suzukia, 2 Schweine Lende Spieße, Gyros und Pommes mit Reis und zaziki. Das Fleisch war saftig und perfekt zubereitet, die Pommes waren sehr lecker und alles war sehr schmackhaft. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, und das Ambiente des Restaurants war angenehm und einladend. Ich würde das Restaurant Akropolis auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und plane, bald wiederzukommen. Die Speisen sind köstlich und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ausgezeichnet. Topp! "A friend of mine had been here before on a previous trip so a few friends and myself decided to check it out and see how it was. The establishment is very quant and enjoyable with a good Irish feel overall. As well the food and staff were more than adequate and exceeded my expectations. They have a few tv's in the establishment with soccer matches or whatever sport may be on at the time as well as a pool table and dart board if that's something you enjoy after you've ate or had a drink (or two). It isn't Ireland but for being in Germany it gives you a decent taste of Irish or an actual Irish pub"

Die Karte ist fleisch-und fischlastig und lässt einem Vegetarier kaum Spielraum.Gäste, welche dem Kult um Bacchus fröhnen, finden wohl im Küchenchef einen kundigen Berater. Parkplätze sind oft schon bei Ankunft belegt, was mit der Lage der Mühle in der engen Altstadt zu tun hat. Wenn man wenige Meter zu Fuß nicht scheut, dann passt das Fahrzeug auch in der Nähe noch in eine Lücke. Resümierend bleibt zu bemerken, daß Gäste mit Augenmerk auf "erste Adresse" einen Fixpunkt in unmittelbarer Nähe für sich entdeckt haben."

"We've been there 3 times and to me, the food has been excellent each time. However, the first time we came, it was with friends and 5 kids under the age of 6, we were greeted with a four letter word beginning with "S" that seemed appropriate at the time, but the owner of the establishment was quite rude. The next time we came with our two kids, we were told they were too busy and sent away (it was empty) because we didn't make a reservation. Tonight, we made a reservation, which was challenged when we arrived, but still upheld. It was interesting though to see and hear through the Italian and German that I know how much she thought of everyone else and even gave a nice couple some free wine to help them celebrate. We didn't get more than gruffly asking if we knew what we wanted yet. She did come by to brush the crumbs off my daughter's seat and correct how she was sitting in her chair repeatedly. But the whole time, she would go to tables next to us and sit with them and laugh, tell stories, pour wine. Seemed like a blast for everyone without kids. So if you want to go, don't bring your kids, otherwise, there are many other Italian places in Kaiserslautern that welcome children."
