"On top of delicious food, wine and ambiance...the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. A long story short but getting around the region without a car is tricky as taxis are not abundant. After a day of exploring Lake Iseo, we had reservations for dinner at Quattro Rose. Because of the precarious transportation, we landed at the restaurant an hour early, 5 minutes before the restaurant even opened. As we discussed our options for how to spend our next hour, one of the waiters, Jeremy, noticed us outside the gate and invited us in. Gratefully, we entered to a beautiful courtyard filled with tables, colorful glasses and intriguing artwork and decorations. Jeremy invited us down to their wine cellar and provided recommendations as we picked our wines for the night. As the evening progressed, we enjoyed courses of fresh, vibrant cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. During our meal, we asked Jeremy if he could help us schedule a taxi for later in the evening. He returned towards the end of of meal with no success as there were no taxis available in the area. He suggested that if we didn't mind waiting, he or a colleague would drive us back to our accommodations when they finished their shift. He went above and beyond making us feel welcome the rest of the evening bringing us more desserts and of course, more wine. I believe we ended up being at the restaurant for about four pleasurable hours and were driven home by none other than the owner. Thank you to everyone at Quattro Rose for not only providing delicious, authentic cuisine but for giving us an Italian hospitality experience that we will never forget."
